The flickering is not prominent at all, just that u know its there. Doesn't really bother me

DTS and DD passthru all working perfectly. Important or not depends on your need la. Some people watch HD movies but OK with tiny stereo speakers. For me, since my amp able to process DTS and DD and I like watching movie with 5.1 so pass thru is important to me since most players doesn't really decode DTS

Tested adi bro.app seems to bypass the root check as expected. Unfortunately cant play any of the content. Will end up with unknown error when I hit play.

Another thing I noticed is I can't seems to be able to login into my astro account. It will say my account blocked because to many failed login tries and ask me to contact customer service. However, if I go login from PC, no problem. So nothing wrong with my account, just the app somehow throwing that unrelevant error msg.

Any specific example? I tried to sync google photos and all the features seems to be working

By the time it reach Malaysia, the tracking info will be updated. Should take around 3-5 days I guess. And once its being updated, most likely you will get your stuff on the next day

Guys, found a permanent work around for the dark dark scene videos.

Just increase the Kodi brightness setting to your liking. Its defaulted at 50%, I crank it up to 60% and its much better now.
You can reach the brightness setting during video playing on screen menu, look for the film icon. Click on that and you should see brightness and contrast below post processing option.

If you don't see the option then go to system --> settings --> video --> acceleration and disable mediacodec(surface). Then go back to the in video on screen menu and the brightness option should be there

Yes increasing TV brightness is another option but that will cause all other source of input to become too bright and need to tune down again when using other source.

That's y I opt to tune Kodi instead.

Correct. Tuning Kodi brightness is consider 1 time effort at least until beelink comes out with a proper solution.

Just download a 4k sample movie and dump it into the box or thumbdrive or network share. Then play from there.

Guys, do u guys have problem with web browser? I'm having problem where I can't select/click the value of pop up or drop down list. When i click on the list that pop up, it is clicking the background item instead. Tried with chrome and default browser both also same.

Another way to test this is doing copy paste within within the browser. Highlight some text, then try to click copy. It will not copy cause it is clicking the background instead of the copy option

I'm also using normal mouse. To highlight text u left click and hold.

Flashed the new firmware and now is rooted. However, unsuccessful when tried to unroot. Need to further test on unroot.


I use gt1 with amp. Before update all Dolby and DTS pass thru without problem. But my amp is only 5.1 channel la. After update I don't know, haven't test.
