QUOTE(iRwIN85 @ Sep 20 2016, 11:35 AM) How to reset to factory setting1. take power adapter off. 2.press pin hole upside down of the box. 3.turn on power adapter and keep pressing the pin hole at the same time. 4.keep pressing pin hole after you see recovery menu on the screen. 5.After you see it ,take remote and go for factory reset option. After that you will make factory data reset by hard way. Box will reboot and you must to wait for entering desktop mode. Now you will have all new sw ,like from factory ,and go again for Ota update menu and it will work. |

Guys, found a permanent work around for the dark dark scene videos.
Just increase the Kodi brightness setting to your liking. Its defaulted at 50%, I crank it up to 60% and its much better now. You can reach the brightness setting during video playing on screen menu, look for the film icon. Click on that and you should see brightness and contrast below post processing option. If you don't see the option then go to system --> settings --> video --> acceleration and disable mediacodec(surface). Then go back to the in video on screen menu and the brightness option should be there |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Sep 22 2016, 07:35 PM) Guys, found a permanent work around for the dark dark scene videos. I have just received my beelink gt1 box. Yes it does have brightness problem. Another method to increase brightness is by changing brightness on TV settings. Another problem with my box is not all movies are playable. I've tried uninstall and reinstall back kodi. The problem persist with movies. However it does not occurs with TV series. Not sure why.Just increase the Kodi brightness setting to your liking. Its defaulted at 50%, I crank it up to 60% and its much better now. You can reach the brightness setting during video playing on screen menu, look for the film icon.
