The company I'm aiming for is doing mariculture (open sea cages)

Ternakan sangkar air payau/masin di daerah Klang

There are some issues so far on all the districts we went, like pollution, otters (actually not really a problem, unless they come in a big group).

Hi Tiger I, may i know is there any knowledge transfer program for the cockles farming available? Or how can we venturing into this species culture?

Hi there, I am a small scale kacang putih plant at home only (For now).
I mainly plant chillis and okras at home due to the easiness of it.

May I ask you, how do you avoid virus infection on the chilli plants? You know the leaves will be wrinkled and also some white spots on it. Are there any tricks to it?

also what are the tips and tricks for chilli planting? If you dont mind sharing.

Thanks rclxms.gif

Hi guys! Recently get to know and visit (not farm just a mini-farm beside my friend's house with 20+ trunks of bees in it)

Friend stating this species named Stingless Bee it won't sting people and usually seek for the bee with red dot/lining is better in quality for the honey

I don't seem to be able to find any resources related to it anyone here have experience with it? How is the market for this?

i believe they are called kelulut. quite easy to keep and maintain as long as you have lots of flowers in your surrounding.

It is under infection & disease control. First of all you need to decide which route to take? Organic or Chemical? smile.gif

My 2 cents:
- have a proper business plan first
- know your budget
- know who to sell to and how much
- calculate overall cost, both capex and opex
- calculate your ROI
- find good location/partner
- talk with other tilapia breeders to have a feel of the market and species

thank you.

still in the process of planning, planning to invest around 20k (10k each) together with my partner, as i have my own land and have a few ready ponds but im planning to start out with 1 which is slightly bigger than a football field, depth will be around 2-3 feet, will be using netting but im worried about hydrogen sulfate, talked to 1 of the behn meyer supplier and was told to drain all the water (which i think will be kinda difficult with the amount of water inside and also im abit worry that might take a long time to fill up again, previously it took 3 months for the underground water to fill the whole pond up) and dig many 30cm holes and insert the chemical to avoid the gas for leeching

My 2 cents again:
1. I will source for other water sources and do canal
2. I wont choose such a big pond, harder to handle
3. I will line my pond in hdpe
4. I will get an expert in tilapia farming and come visit and see viability
5. If I'm looking for POC, I will partition the pond into small size and put in medium stocking density to see whether fish can survive and grow or not

Very dangerous if you are not sure whether fish can grow or even fish can't be eaten without high trace elements due to unknown and unverified water sources

Just my 2 cents

Thank you so much for the advice. Really appreciate it. also if i were to line my pond with hdpe meaning i will have to drain all the water and i can no longer rely on the underground water?

1)How do you guys market your chili products in Klang Valley? Are you guys mostly supplying to local market e.g NSK, Tesco & etc or is there any middleman trader?

2) Is the demand rather secure if you are able to supply in significant quantity?

*sorry had to ask such questions, I am totally new to this and have just started plantation @ home. Planning to loan for a piece of agri land for agriculture as side income. It will also serve as investment purpose if the venture does not work well.
*
Hi Kenny, What do you have for sale? What quantity? Thanks.
