like a fake 23mm?  laugh.gif  holyshi- that's really new to me. I thought they have the official support by Fujifilm.
*
not sure what u mean by fake 23mm. The 33mm is not being recognised by xpro bodies as 33mm. It is being recognised as 23mm. Hence it shows 23mm framelines and not 33mm in ovf. I confirmed this finding with other 33mm users who use them on the xpros. I'm not sure if the metadata is correct.

but if the xpro bodies think the 33mm is 23mm and shows 23mm framelines, it makes me wonder if ibis bodies think the 33mm is 23mm and compensates wrongly as well.

if u dont use ibis, and u dont use ovf, then the whole thing is a non-issue

I came from canon to fuji, tried sony, and came back again, because of the versatility of saving in camera jpeg settings. The following images were processed in camera, sooc. Shot with the xpro 3 and mitakon and viltrox 23mm

I regretted selling my x100f, now looking for it or the Ricoh gr ii/iii
*
The x100f and the ricoh g3 is quite different. 18mm vs 23mm means a lot imho. I dont really like 18mm for street. Too wide for me.

Get a used one, whats your budget?
Theres also the cheap xf10 by fuji

maybe 2-3k for used unit. im ok with either 35mm or 28mm FF. didnt look much at the XF10 but the price is quite good for used.
*
i had the 18mm f2 lens, and while it was useful, for full body shots for wife, it really distorted her. so end up the 18mm not having as much use because its too close to the 23mm. So i recently revised my 3 primes to 35mm, 23mm and 14mm.

i just managed to snag a mint silver xt3 with 18-55 lens for USD760! got to now sell my xe3, which the xt3 will replace as my second body.

USD 760 is a steal bro! Congratz  rclxms.gif

23 and 35 are the staple lenses. So, no love for the 56?  hmm.gif
*
I think it depends on your style of photography. I think 56 excludes too much of the environment for me. Unless we playing around with brenizer method

Actually 3k max.

Alright tq for the tips. Yeah many told me also go at least 100f
*
I think the x100f should be around 2.5k to 2.8k ?

Just remember the x100f is soft up close

Alright. Tq just noticed x100f is within that range haha. Price drop? I tot rm3k above for used.

The new lens in x100v sharpness is so much better?
*
I am guessing the price based on the US.

The x100v is sharper when its close focusing. For street photography, not much difference.

Just to give people an update, will be selling my viltrox 23mm and moving back to fuji's 23mm. The viltrox 23mm CA is god awful and i lost a few good photos due to it. (Had to convert to bnw to save those photos).

Hi all. I am torn between getting a used XT2 or used XT20.

Besides from weather resistant (i am not required to shoot under extreme and harsh weather condition), extra iso dials that XT2 provided, touchscreen on XT20 where as XT2 does not, all the bells and whistle on both camera is basically more or less the same.

Specs aside, its just that i seems to like the feel of XT2 in my hand because of the size where i can squeeze all 5 of my fingers on the camera body. Unlike the XT20 where i am left with my pinkies hanging on the bottom of the camera.

Does it worth to spend some extra money for the XT2 just because of the body size? Oh btw, the price difference is RM600 between used XT2 and XT20.
*
forget weather resistance. you can't shoot when there is water droplets on your lens anyway.

if budget is an issue, go for the xt20.

Did you consider new xt20 or xt30? Especially imported, not fujifilm Malaysia set.

Was thinking to get an xt20 too, but just realized new and used price for xt20 not that much different.

New xt20 body can get around rm2200 ( cameraexpert and altech). Used xt2 are around the same price.

New xt30 body can get around rm3000 (cameraexpert).
If too small can add hand grip.
If weather resistance very important than of cause XT2. Btw, the price between used Xt2 and XH1 also not very big difference.
*
where are you looking for used xt20s?

Hi guys, I'm using Nikon dslr as my main camera, thinking of getting a cheap 2nd hand fuji for lightweight ninja street photography

thinking of pairing 27mm f2.8 with X-T1/X-T10/X-T100, or get one of the earlier generation X100 series instead  hmm.gif
*
Xt1 isnt that light. XT10 is ok. Xt100 is also ok. Both these options would depend on what price you can get them for, before i would recommend its a great buy.

Also consider the XE2, which is even lighter and smaller than xt10 or xt100. or the XA5 which is even smaller than xe2 but you give up EVF for tilty selfie screen

Those are retailers who buy, mark up and resell. is there no used market platform to refer to? I would not buy from a retailer, but user to user.

ada, mudah, carousell, lowyat..
But personally i prefer to deal with reputable retailer.

Was planning to get a new xt30, but end up with a used xt20 and xf35 1.4. Total rm2700. The price not too bad.
*
Agree that bundle is a decent price. Welcome aboard and congrats! The xt20 is definitely still relevant. I myself use an xt2 in addition to the current pro3

Actually i am looking for wide angle lens as my next kit but after looking around i only found out that the 16mm f2.8 is somehow falls in my budget. How about the Samyang 12mm ah? Hmm still looking up reviews in terms of them wide angle lens biggrin.gif
*
the 12mm rokinon/samyang is one of the better wide angle manual lenses for fuji. Even the corners are decent.

btw, just to update, after thinking for a while. i bought the x-e3 after your advise. tqvm sir. flex.gif

i think better off with a new x-e3 than a used x100f  biggrin.gif
to anyone interested in here, in lazada now got offer for x-e3 new from fujifilm malaysia. RM 1888.00 body only.

pay deposit RM500. Chup Dulu campaign. 9.9 later the price would be the typical RM2.2k.

for me RM 1888 is a damn good price for a new x-e3.
*
Thats a very good deal for brand new. love the xe3 design and size. I am waiting for one day that fuji will hopefully give it waist level shooting and maybe a second card slot lol. If that happens, i would even sell my xpro 3 to get it

I don't currently own anything longer than 35mm after streamlining my lenses. I found I hardly shoot longer than 35 any more. So no, won't be buying. And even if I wanted to buy a lens that range, i'd rather buy an Minolta MC Rokkor 58mm f1.2 and adapt it to the fuji for portraits. It has amazing character, sharp, and beautiful rendering. Easier to resell too than a 50mm f1 (and easier to adapt to medium format if i ever go down that route)

Going for vacation this Saturday, will cover Ipoh, Cameron Highlands, Penang and Taiping.

I shortlist to 10-24mm, 18mm f/2, 23mm f/1.4 and 35mm f/2. Let's say I am going to bring just two lenses, which ones will you choose? I cannot decide. I know 18mm and 23mm overlap with 10-24 but the big aperture seems useful for me. hmm.gif
*
based on that line up i would have gone with 10-24 and 35 f2 as well for sure. just bump up iso to 6400 if need be lol it will still be usable
