Tempted to get Viltrox 33mm f/1.4.

You struck a chord there with me as far as going cheaper cause I've been browsing through for those particular models as well...

xt10, xe2, and thinking about pancake 27mm and probably some small manual focus lenses just for fun shooting around without lugging too much around.

these models are going for very little (well, except the 27mm pancake, the price doesn't seem to drop by a lot).. only thing is the condition of the items

Cool. I already have Fuji 23mm f/1.4 and don't have 33-35mm range yet. Is Fuji 35mm f/2 cheaper? This Viltrox is about 1.1k.

I think the Meikes go for between RM200-RM500 (USD40-USD70) depending on which one.
The X-E2 units I see online for used ones go for <RM1200 (<USD280) but probably can be negotiated and not so sure about the item's condition.

I'm like thissssssssssssssssssss close to pulling the trigger. Those manual focus fast primes sure are enticing

Good advice on getting one manual focus lens first. Probably would drop some cash on the f1.7 since that's real cheap.

The xt100's go for slightly more. Of course, just based on my menial online searching

The kamlan's look a lil bit on the 'big' side which is what I don't want. Size would be quite a big factor for me getting a 2nd body which I intend to bring everywhere even when I don't intend to take photos..... And end up doing so.

As someone who owned the XT10 and am using the XT30, I think the performance difference from the XT10 to XT20/ XT30 is too big especially on the speed/ auto focus. The lowest I would go is the XT20.

I went with the XF35mmf2 instead of the XC35mmf2 due to the build quality and WR. I totally love the lens and mainly kept it on the body most of the time now. I personally felt if you are using a XT3/ XT4, then the XF just go so well with the body (WR). Plus better resale value as well in case XF35mmf1.4 mk2 do come out

I'd prob go for the 35mm. no hard and fast decision yet. Not too rushed cause it's just an afterthought
it's gonna be my first Fuji. Been reading and watching tonnes of X-E2 vs X-E3 and the likes for a while now.

love the form factor of the small fujis thus browsing around for these models... not completely averse to the XA models, but would prefer a viewfinder for the price.

Yeah, no doubt about that but it's going to be a toy lens for me.
I think I will still prefer wider angle lens. So far 18mm and 23mm are my favorites.

Just wanna ask is it still worth it to get xt20 at this time?

Hi there, Just to get some feedback in regards to the 3 lens below for my next purchase to go with my XT20. :confused:
1. Fujifilm XF 35MM F1.4
2. Fujifilm XF 35MM F2
3. Viltrox 33MM F.14

I am currently using the Fujifilm 23MM F1.4 and personally really like the photo it produce but I would like to get stronger bokeh effect for my portrait.
Just to check will be it okay to go with Viltrox 33MM F1.4 instead of Fujifilm 35MM F1.4.

Reading through earlier post saw that Viltrox 33mm F1.4 Bokeh almost similar to the Fujifilm F2 lens make me having second thought.
Just wonder if anyone have done side by side comparison on how the bokeh rendering between Viltrox and Fuji?
It is so tough to find lens rendering comparison as the lens is quite new and most Fuji folks are running the 35mm 1.4 instead.

It is hard to explain that as well, but another point would be having extra stop of light when i am taking at low light area.
the 23mm F1.4 that i have does help it compare to the 18-55 that i have.
I rather spend more for at one purchase rather than getting another lens at later date.
The mitakon f0.95 look good but combination of no autofocus and it weight does put me off.
Any particular reason on returning the 33mm?

I see, I expected it transition from blurry to sharp instead of freezing the screen, but really like the small size of fujifilm cameras

Grabbed one unit of XC 35mm f/2 for RM 850. Hopefully I will enjoy this toy lens, so far the reviews I read have convinced me.

I bought from Lazada, comes with free Marumi filter too. Malaysia pricing includes taxes.
Can return If I don't use it, not like US style.
