Steering dampers are used by serious or competitive riders to address the issue of tank slappers, which happens when the bike is ridden hard i.e. on the racetrack.

But most people buy steering dampers simply because it looks cool. Nampak gempakkkk... padahal ride gi kerja je.

Decide which category you belong to, then only decide whether or not you should cough up blood for an Ohlins one or a cheapo China one... or save the money for your children's education.

Ohlins on my bikes
- my Duc still a little tank slap alike when power wheelie during corner exit at track. Maybe from front end setting.
- great stability when high speed. I never put my weight on bars. Yes.. I go 299 on speedway
- no any handling issues when hitting objects, spikes, small potholes etc
- if you are used with damper you are like counter steering so much when on bike without damper

You never seen them at parking meh?

Ultimately depends whether the parking place is secured /civilize or not.

Else you go park your Sportbike /Superbike,  when want to go home end up need to tow because wheels /brakes /electronics all stolen.

Worse is you have to take taxi la,  because entire bike gone missing.

not sure how i should make this decision to side which more, really wanting an sport bike but the 6 years old bike might be a problem.

I don't care about sound other than my exhaust being quiet lol

This video made me consider getting a used KTM RC390 and just convert it into project/track bike. Looks so agile and well-mannered but maybe it's rider. haha

And also, Tyga makes a great kit for the bike.

and buy SBK for fun.

but u see now, if get sbk 40k can only get 2011 sbk zx6r.

the same amount can buy naked bikes with warranty.

feel so scary without warranty.
