QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Nov 28 2016, 11:00 AM) hmm after quick ride to sunway/home back and forth, from light drizzle to heavy rain conditions, my short review:- wind noise for the most part is even quieter than my previous speed r - despite the crazy tight fit since its a new helmet, the padding does seem very comfortable - helmet is indeed lighter than my previous speed r especially since no inner visor component, accompanied with better aero dynamics, the helmet barely feels much at speed. comparatively to shoei, the shoei seemed heavier on weight albeit at speed ird reckon the seemingly better aero would make up for it? - ventilation is AWESOME. so many amount of vents rofl that the entire head/face seems like i'm in an air conditioned room rofl. granted, it is night time and it is raining. some downside though, as i've opened every vent there is, minor amount of water especially during heavy rain DOES get in the helmet lol. |

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Nov 29 2016, 08:57 AM) Not included, need to buy separately. Was referring to Shoei X14, iinm Shoei does include Pinlock so in that sense, shoei much cheaper ( well only 30+ sgd difference since my Pinlock kinda included due to heavy discounts of like 200-300+ sgd? lol) |

Does the lack of inner visor bother you? Not sure whether I'll need one with my next helmet. It looks cool but so far I've only used it for like 1% of total riding time...and less weight is always good. Regarding jacket tightness, for leather it's normal and the jacket will break in over time (tip: wear it 24/7 to speed up the breaking-in process For sleeve length, in some cases when you reach out for the handlebars, the sleeves will be pulled back. So sleeves that feel long when standing straight will actually reach the right length when you're on the bike. But this depends on the jacket lol. |

QUOTE(deadwolf @ Nov 29 2016, 11:14 AM) You back on the bike? Awesome  Ya, one ride and I felt half dead especially its just a day after a crazy 3 nights in a row concerts at Singapore. Does the lack of inner visor bother you? Not sure whether I'll need one with my next helmet. It looks cool but so far I've only used it for like 1% of total riding time...and less weight is always good. So probably no more rides until weekend /next week if I'm still being hurting from it Well my first ride after absence for more than half a year was on yesterday raining night, so no doubt I didn't miss the inner visor haha. Personally, I don't think it'll be that much of a problem to be. At most I'll consist investing in thin /small lightweight and frame less sun glasses? Or tinted pin lock /visors? Not sure what options Arai offer without killing the bank /inconveniences such as carrying another piece of visor. That said, if I'm going to rides, I'd probably still go with just clear visor as I get better clarity on the roads /track anyways. And since I've been used to "avoiding /ignoring" glares (eg: opposing traffic high beams) from my night rides, I can apply the same experience on my day time riding as well. Granted, you see most racer riders have maximum tinting since they cannot afford even a split second distraction and to minimize and possible errors that can be caused by a glinting glare from the sun or reflection from other objects. =edit = Oh ya, the sleeves worked just as what you said, furthermore there's a tightening /adjusting velcro strap to further tighten the sleeves which I didn't notice until my first ride as it was hard to fit over my new *supposedly * bootleg RS Taichi GP-WRX gloves lol.
