QUOTE(munky @ Aug 31 2016, 07:11 PM) 09-14 R1 are crossplane and are the best choice and value for money. The 12-14 comes with TC. Over 150 hp stock power. More than you need. Hardly breakdown and real workhorse with many options for aftermarket upgrade. Sorry im not sure about parts availability in Malaysia but cowling, engine parts etc. are plenty in ebay/online. Just name it. I sometime bought new because still cheaper than used in ebay. There must be the way you can bring in for a cheaper cost from getting it locally. Yamaha generally, my old non crossplane 06 R1 already clocked 40k++ km both on street and track sessions. No engine leak no wiring issue no starting problem no engine knocking no valve clearance and still doing 299 happily. Only once when 1 of the spark plug popping out because the plug thread stripped. Installed insert and no issue until now. I vote crossplane anytime than my 1198S neebo liked this post

QUOTE(munky @ Sep 1 2016, 12:00 AM) my main concern is the heat from the underseat exhaust, weight of the bike, and its fuel consumption Engine and exhaust heat is normal for all superbikes or even if you ride k1600. R1 or any i4 heat is nothing if you compare with L twin Ducati. read on other forum they said the heat generated is quite bad, and malaysian weather u know la and it has very bad FC if compared to the other bikes. I know it is a superbike, and i shouldnt be looking at FC when buying a superbike, but my main concern is when going long distance riding with friends, im afraid the R1 needs to be refuelled much much earlier, while the other guys can still go another 100km or so. Or worst case, there's no nearby petrol station I know the zx10r, cbr1000rr, and gsxr1000 are probably a better choice, but i just cant get away from the crossplane sound Normally ppl will ask ini moto berapa hp rather than ini moto berapa kg Most standard liter superbikes dry weight are around 180kg weight. Power to weight ratio can be 1:1 with minor upgrading. If this too heavy for you then forget about getting superbike. Should not talk about FC. From the moment fuel indicator is up (trip meter will reset to 0) you can go as far as 30km if you maintaining 120kmh constant speed. Check with others otai here for kawa or honda. For me the crossplane and maybe also zx10 is more updated compare to current rabbit with their same engine since 08. |

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Sep 1 2016, 04:12 PM) Guys, I have a question regarding pinlock visors. I will fog up. Pinlock is just an add on to applicable pinlock visors. If a helmet comes with a Pinlock visor, will it fog up if no Pinlock lens is equipped to the visor? I mean, should there be an antifog coating on the visor or that is the Pinlock antifog insert's job? |

Trying out Liqui Moly motorcycle cleaner. I normally use car care product for cowling polishing and WD40 for engine and drive chain cleaning. But the Liqui Moly cleaner and the multi-purpose spray did the job faster and less hassle. Instant gloss finished on my beasts
I tried also the chain cleaner but IMO WD40 is more effective [attachmentid=7554934] [attachmentid=7554936] |

QUOTE(deadwolf @ Sep 19 2016, 11:37 AM) Nice! Is the Luqui Moly cleaner an all-in-one sort of thing? I tried some stuff called SDOC-100 in the UK which you just spray over the entire bike (chain included) before washing it off and lubing the chain, but the gloss it left wasn't very impressive. Not all in one type. The gloss finishing spray is really impressive. Actually I got free sample from last motogp here » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

Guys. It is not only about safe keeping your bike. I hate a kind of people who simply like to sit on your parked bike. Konon nak test duduk. Imagine your bike tumbang because of them.

QUOTE(snowberry @ Sep 21 2016, 01:25 AM) Today me brought my bike to ktm to check why keep stalling when clutch hold in. Im not sure what they did but seems not related with your clutch issue Later that they check check, say my akrapovic no mapping done wtfucuk. Akra mapping can suddenly dissapear 1 ar? coz ask previous owner memang got akra mapping. Today after mapping done fuuuuuuuuu Feel like whole new bike..so powderful. I is sad before without right mapping. Kthxbye. QUOTE(munky @ Sep 21 2016, 09:02 AM) The only way for mapping is reflash or by piggy back. Akra and Termig like for newer Ducati come with their own up-map key to be reflashed to OEM ecu. In case for piggy back the map for akra, arrow etc. are created by developer. You need to download the map according to your bike modifications and upload the map to your piggy back. |

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Oct 4 2016, 02:22 PM) I believe there’s nothing wrong with the helmet. Probably the problem is your riding position or the way you wore the helmet.Get your eyes look more up ‘higher’ instead of lifting up your head. My xlite 802R seems ‘shorter’ at chin area and the helmet giving more upward view (but little narrow view area compared to Corsa). Try the 802R if it could help more. Corsa also is with high visibility btw |

QUOTE(deadwolf @ Oct 4 2016, 04:22 PM) Looks like a Japanese bike :/ that rear cylinder kinda looks like it could really heat up your inner leg as well. The early Panigale models didn’t even come with cylinder cover. Available only after sales service for free. Not much help still. This is L twin QUOTE(ciwi1166 @ Oct 4 2016, 04:41 PM) The white is S model bro but seems without electronic Ohlins. Need to see the official release |
