New 2017 ER6f looks damn nice. Slipper clutch and adjustable windshield ..brings to mind a baby version of the Z1000sx. Along with the new Versys, Kawasaki's 650 bikes are starting to look really sharp drool.gif I wonder if they'll do any updates for the ER6n as well?

Yeah it's because of euro4. I really don't like stock bike exhausts nowadays, they look like huge metal tumours. Well, good business for aftermarket suppliers...

Kawasaki seems to have confirmed the z900 and z650:

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2016/oc...new-motorcycle/

z650 looks like a MT-07 competitor. Even the design is kinda similar. If the 187kg weight stated is actually wet weight, that's pretty impressive. Not much more than most 250cc bikes and very near to the MT-07.

Are they gonna still produce the z800 once the z900 hits the market? Seems like the z800 will become obsolete since the 900 features more stuff like a slipper clutch and even lower seat height (for us tiny Asian riders laugh.gif ). If the stated 210kg weight is wet weight as well...idk why anyone would pick the 220kg+ z800. Maybe the next few years will see a lot of cheap second-hand z800s on the market...

Unless the price gap between Z800 and Z900 is too big (like 52k vs 65k), Z900 is the way to go flex.gif

maybe they put an end to the z800. the cc gap is quite small, but cannot be say for price gap though. laugh.gif

competing wise, if the z800 price is quite close to MT-07, then maybe a reason enough to choose z800.
