QUOTE(Aesthetica @ Sep 14 2016, 11:43 PM) My honest advice, go spend some time on a cheap low-capacity bike and learn. Then you'll be able to appreciate that ZX10R a thousand times more at the track and use it to the fullest (as a Ninja should); as oppose to just seeing how fast you can go on an empty highway in a straight line.
Good advise.

QUOTE(mrjgx @ Sep 16 2016, 10:40 PM) Thx for the advice bros. Actually, 1000cc bike is not to be afraid of la..more safer I think. Literally the opposite. Less speed = less danger. I even mentioned "Error on small bike is small. Error on big bike is big.". There's a reason why our license system is B2, B1(gone already), BFull - not just B Full only. And the they use ER6N or Virago for BFull not a ZX6R or Fireblade. Or that it's mandatory for countries like UK and Australia, that they limit the power of your bike during your P period to just 47 horsepower. I think you're confusing electronics with ccs. Yes, electronics like ABS and TC help manage you from locking up your wheels during braking. But the 1000cc is literally the rocket flying you.

You dont know that 1000çc is a monster until you rip open the throttle. Lots have fallen victim to its insane power. For now I have to settle for Vulcan S, made almost 800km with it.

One could argue that liter bikes are technically safer in the hands of an expert, thanks to their powerful brakes and handling. But for a newbie? Liter bike throttles and brakes are sensitive and usually much stronger than other bikes. One unintentional hard twist of the throttle (e.g. while going over bumps) or a hard squeeze of the front brake due to newbie panic is enough to end the ride on the spot as the engine/brake power overwhelms your tires' traction.

straight 1000cc yo! no need to spend money later to upgrade to bigger cc if u do get 1000cc or 600cc, just be disciplined and think about your life and your loved ones. Dont open the throttle too much until u r really comfortable with the bike. I have a few friends that went straight to 1000cc. All safe n sound today. But at the end of the day, it's up to the individual

I rode a naked bike before, not my cuppa of tea. At 120kmh the wind is killing me unless my chest is on top of the tank, the bike is not a pleasant at all to be ridden (r-nine T)
