QUOTE(bbgoat @ Oct 20 2016, 08:35 PM) Call up or go to Alliance Bank branch and talk to officer or BM on this 4.1% deal. Remember it has to be a large amt. For now , looks like for a large amount , 4.1% is the largest rate. Luckily managed to park some in Affin for the 4.5% promo months back. Will call alliance tomorrow to find out about the 4.1%! |

QUOTE(Deal Hunter @ Oct 21 2016, 07:37 PM) Why so interested in banks and PIDM? Why don't you try and ask MBSB for higher rates if you have money? No way MBSB try to demand RM 1 million for 4.1% for 12 months. They have been consistently attractive and competitive on the top side - but need to ask. If your cash flow and money is available, the first place is MBSB. Any thread to follow? I might be interested. |

Seeing all the hassle, IMHO , for convenience sake, it's probably better to go with GIA 4.1% pa and the beauty is that at anytime if wanna withdraw, can still enjoy 3.6% . No need to wait for Tuesdays or scramble for 3 months promotion rates.

QUOTE(bbgoat @ Nov 7 2016, 06:41 PM) Today went to OCBC Penang PB centre to terminate matured FD. OCBC PB centre really busy this Monday. RENTAS part of the dough out so as to place FD as fresh fund. Can share which investment for the UT?I would like to ask my RM too. I have FD maturing on 16/11 and might consider doing what you did too.Got 3 mth FD at 5.2% by buying UT from RM. The FD amt is 1.5X of UT purchase. Then also placed for their 13 mth 3.95% FD promo. Still have some dough left for tomorrow's HL's 4.15% 6 mth FD. |

QUOTE(thkhai @ Nov 8 2016, 06:44 PM) Yes me too. Just checked. You are right. Managed to secure more than the IBG transfer limit.Based on my experienced today, for those who want to placement more than 30k FD on eHLB, move your money to M2U before Tuesday, because u can only done the multiple times with FPX by using M2U. Other banks does have the 30k or 50k daily limit. |
