I mentioned before I would be happy with 4% FD promo, even will settle for 3.95%. Though I miss the days of 4.5/4.6% FD promo.

I think those days of 4.5/4.6% FD promo is over for now. Would be interesting to see the Dec FD promo, coming soon, akan datang.

With the BNM holding OPR recently, the best FD promo may be up to 4.2%, I hope. Lets see the year end and CNY promo.

Those that are receiving the interest please confirm if they are receiving the monthly interest as 3.6% or something in between 3.55% and 3.6% ? Someone reported getting less than 3.6% last week. Though another forummer said he received 3.6%.

Same issue as mine except yours is online placement and mine was OTC.

My resolution was by calling the branch and talk to the officer. They manually bank in the interest for me for the last 6 months that I am affected. But yours seemed to be whole 1 year. I was lucky that I don't have to call them every mth after that.

Suggest for u to go and call the branch. More direct and if interest not banked in, u know who to talk to.

Thanks for info. Has reserved one set with BR. Has been MIA with BR for quite some time.

I have not go into MBB GIA-i 4.1% and instead went to OCBC 3.95% and Alliance Bank 4%. It is just pseudo FD for me.

Why u use "not sincere" ? U are talking about the MBB GIA-i rate, right ?

It is the nature of the product. We cannot say it is a real FD, can we ?

Is yours on 12 mth promotional rate or the normal 3.55% ?

What make u use the term insincere on BR ? I never used the term on any banks. Just because I said I am MIA ?

Meaning those with AUM 200k or more becomes the PB customer automatically. So cannot get member get member RM388 incentive by friends or relatives.

Previously was thinking the HL Tuesday 6 mth 4.15% FD promo interest only given at maturity. Now confirmed that it is given monthly.
