Just download and then go to updater and choose thw option to select update package from ur download folder...then wait n reboot...about 15-20min....hehe welcome miui8

I tested...everything working fine..no malware or weird app appear after reboot..everything remain the same..just the setting and interface changed.

So no need to connect the phone to pc.... Just download the roms and use the updater app the one with blue up arrow icon right...

Should be, double confirm your IMEI with Mi Malaysia. Btw, your charger is 3 pin type?

Some non-UK plug comes with 3 pin. So you should ask does it come with UK plug(Malaysia using) or US plug(which China is using).
