anybody has warranty claimed experienced with mi malaysia lowyat? my phone need to change motherboard. Did you leave the phone to them and collect it after certain time? how long normally?
or they allow repair on the spot which you can collect after 2-3 hrs?

But don't buy for camera purpose (low light output is mediocre to ones eyes...)

battery i can assure u its really good.
as for camera.. outdoor is good, just indoor and low light not really great as s7 or ipong fyi

Well... Redmi Note 4 is an alternative (though camera output is subjective for now...) head over there to get the owners opinions... So far, YouTubers praised RN4 camera outputs...if ur sister is not gadget-holic, the MediaTek SoC is good enuf for average joe person...

for cameras, nowadays mmg s7edge. redmi note 3 pro camera is acceptable but like wise, what you pay is what you get.

Just bought Redmi Note 3 Pro for my dad as a replacement of his S3 from Gemfive Terabyte with the help of aromachong. Received the parcel just now.

Wanna ask do I still need to self flash ROM for the phone? Has Terabyte already set everything to global ROM since this is an AP set from China. I am asking this as I am not in my hometown right now and afraid my dad doesn't know how to flash the ROM.

Need to flash Gobal ROM using dl method then the phone good to go.

The only way to know whether it has global ROM is to check it out in Settings/About Phone/MIUI version

I bought one myself but from other seller in lazada, it already came with MIUI 7 Global, so, no flashy flash

check what rom 1st better...bought mine from g5... import set too... global rom..no need flash other rom

I feel good so far coz i bought around 3 units of RN3 all from Gtronics@Satu Gadget.com, it all comes oredi with global ROM, simple dload from MIUI website for latest ROM and updating it using the builtin updater suffice and no problem..

all from terabyte. just it today and yesterday
with global rom miui 8 8.0.1 version
