Not sure which Raven you're using, but if it has SoundBlaster 5, you could try this below
If your using stock realtek drivers provided by them, with Soundblaster connect that is never updated. You could try enabling Smart Volume in the equalizer. This improves the sound volume greatly.

The only issue is, if you updated your realtek audio, or updated the Soundblaster connect app from windows store, the equalizer function breaks.

And few times ive asked, kept given same old drivers. So i gave up and using external speakers.

Thanks. Will definitely try so. It was actually working fine (as in hearing properly with volume 50-60), then out of sudden it just turns bad (after a week plus). Currently I either make it to 100, or just use a headset.

If soundblaster cinema 5 cannot be opened, that means your SBC 5 is installed but not updated/activated and results in softer volume.

Would you like to send in so our technician will assist you to enable/update the software?

Probably never. The 1080 is a last generation chip that has since been discontinued.

Temperature back to normal around 60-70 after servicing by Illegear. Good after sales service.

Probably thermal paste dried up and dust. I bought it on 2016 September.

anyone own selenite ? hows the speaker compare to alienware?

After much clicking / digging, I manage to find the watt for the adapter but I still cannot find the battery cell , ie. 3-Cell Battery, 4-Cell
