QUOTE(amoslee @ Mar 21 2007, 10:25 AM) blade: i ask my friend to get a 9v too to test on your loader too ok? what's the current capacity (mA) of those rechargable batteries? better check if it's suitable for paintball markers or not... Adam and Badman Registra of Companies? let me think...mana office? taken from Wicked Air Sportz (WAS) site's FAQ... (http://www.wickedairsportz.com/faq.php) QUOTE Can I use rechargeable batteries? NO! Rechargeable batteries should never be used in any device designed for paintball! The best rechargeable battery has a maximum current output of 175ma. A regular alkaline battery's capacity is 550ma. Solenoids used in paintball markers draw in excess of 1 amp of current during the first few milliseconds, afterwhich have a holding current of approximately 375ma. NONE of the rechargeable batteries have sufficient current output capabilities resulting in improper operation (severe consistency and velocity issues). Batteries with a voltage in excess of 9 volts (such as the popular 9.6v types) could damage the Equalizer board and void the warranty. just sharing info lah.. WAS is the maker of equalizer board used in NME, timmy, DM4/5/C etc... donno abt spyder board tho.... |

does anyone know if the T-board for the spyder vs2 uses normal 9volt batts or uses kingman 9.6 volt batts?? kinda curious ... not as if im going to purchase one anytime soon, but it could be a factor if the t-board uses regular 9volt batts...

bro not worth buying the TBoard or Lucky Stay because it doesn't save that much battery either...TBoard selling USD59.95 and Lucky Star even more expensive.... anyway we are using semi-auto we are not using PSP mode....

like i said, im not considering to buy it any moment . just want to know if the Tboard uses regular 9 volts ma.. i'll consider it only when the situation requires me to. Like say if i have to use ramping ... then if the new board uses regualr 9 volts would be a plus point. No harm in learning what your options are and what it gives you what hehehe, makes you a more well inform individual, player, and consumer hahaha =P not like im going to want to even try to join D2 now hahaha =P

T-board aftermarket board wor.... hahaha but yeah after combing various webpages and forums, talking to previous spyder owners (not the vs ones tho). speaking of tinkering....i've got a double 9volt batt operated halo now =] , now i can run single 9volt, two 9volt, or the regular 6 AAs as i please hehehe.=D i think i had some batt leak that resulted in my 6AA batt holder partially melted... =0 This post has been edited by chronic_blade: Mar 21 2007, 09:32 PM |
