i've tested both

1. the while screen torch is not that bright, so so only
2. orange torch abit weird...scary feeling

Isn't the LED red? Looks like red to me. Hmmm but it does look like magenta, reddish orange.

difference is brand, quality. Some vouch for sandisk, some would just buy sony for quality. The choice is up to you. For me, no difference but price.

This is the first time i ever seen someone so happy that their phone is going kaput.


Bout the screen size, I dont need something like a nokia communicator, but it's good to have a screen as big as N73. It still retains the size k800i is right now. What i mean to say, maximize the space.

K850i, 5MP, screen size like N73 but with better quality, slimmer form factor, lose the damn camera hump baggage. I will die a happy man.

SE also got pink z610 but same no macro for camera
if you like pink so much get silver unit and go skin it to pink color

Finally i just sent in my k800i in for warranty, and the staff at ericserve were nice and polite.

And went to lowyat too, grabbed a 1Gb Sony M2 for RM189. I guess its a good deal, now waiting for my phone back to sumbat more stuff in it.

Is it the problem of the phone keep turning itself off automatically?

annoying isnt it.. takes abt few seconds just to fully load the pic..

k800 music quality nowhere near ipod... even w800 cant be on par with ipod(tried with cx300 ) ..

Like that also can, ar? It's not a good thing wor, if it's not faulty, at least you could sell it for a few hundred ringgit and top up the rest for a K800i. It's hard to sell faulty phones here.


Wah, the price went down again? Luckily I didn't buy it, guess I should wait till it drops further so that it is as cheap as a MSPD. M2 is revolutionary but it's too expensive, just curious to know if our K800i is able to support up to 4GB in the future via firmware upgrades.


I get what you mean, it's a bit sluggish but a K800i doesn't have a built in ARM processor or even ram either so it can't be help.

by the way,last night i think my inbox was full because i realise that a few of my msgs that my friend send wasnt save.. strangely they didnt ask me to delete the inbox or send msgs because my phone msg was full. new feature? doh.gif . they just straight delete the msgs that my friend send after i reply it.. hmm... anybody having the same experience?

The M2 prices drops quite fast. I wonder are there any 2gb M2 around? and can our phones support it?

If at all 2GB M2 is available, does the latest firmware actually support 2GB M2? It's because I read somewhere in the technical spec saying that it supports up to 1GB only

I think the inbox thingy is not related to the phone, should be limited by the capacity of your sim card.


Well, the answer is a big yes, http://it.moldova.org/stiri/eng/23258/ and M2 is only designed to be used in Sony Ericsson mobile phones so it is definitely compatible, even if it is not, it can be fixed by upgrading the firmware. Same like my Nikon digi camera, was supposed to support up to 2GB SD card but after upgrading the firmware, it could detect the 4GB SD card easily. I'm sure Sony will ensure that their phones are compatible with their memory cards. To be frank, I would prefer a 2GB card anytime provided if the price is reasonable.
