Well...I desire exclusivity and style coupled with decent functionality. My current phone is the classic Nokia 8890, a phone which I have had since highschool and having just recently graduated from uni and about to start a job, I desire something a bit more modern and stylish, yet which has longevity as well.

The w810i is excellent, but it's pretty ubiquitous and it really doesn't stand out as much as the e900 since it's form factor is similar to all other SEs. Plus it's definitely not as good looking as the e900 so I guess that clinches my decision in the end!

Speaking of earphones...

can anyone teach me exactly how to change the earpiece size of the HPM-70?
really worried that i might damage it if i remove that piece of rubber by force

in standby mode... key in *>*<<*< (> right navi pad, < left navi pad).. tat will bring u into the service menu... in there u can check the firmware, info on first page.. and there is service test too.. the test allow u to test major of the hardware there, like keypad, light, camera, vibration etc etc... and also check the total call time from there.. new phone shud hv abt 00:00

Well, no doubt e900 has cool design and it looks elegance too. W810i's design is cool also, maybe the formfactor makes it look common. But overall, i mean the whole packaging, W810i still stands out. Not to mention the features this phone brings u, good camera with autofocus and also strong Walkman featues. Not sure about the music feature on E900 but in terms of camera, i think e900 is not up to the level of W810i. Besides, it also bundle with 512mb of memory stick and also earphone which allows u to enjoy ur musics.
Anyway, choices is always urs. Maybe u should get more advices from e900 thread to help u decide. Good luck!

Don't worry, it won't damage juz apply some strength on the hard part of the earbud when u pull it out , make sure u don't pull the soft part too strong. I am sure u can feel which part soft and which part hard. Maybe i might not good at explaining this. Anyone can explain it better?

Congratulation evilhomura89....should also check on the HPM70 earphone, USB cable , software CD and charger too. Besides what hv youngkies mentioned, u should also check for death pixel on ur LCD screen. Juz activate the camera then cover the camera lens with ur hand and look on the screen. See got any death pixels or not...

guys, does the fast port get 'loose' after it's been used for sometime?

i have a K500i and it really frustrate me when i wanna charge the phone, cuz it keep on getting connected and disconnected...i wanna buy the W810i, but am afraid to get that problem again...and does the camera lens get scratch easily?

I don't think it's a scratch, perhaps more like a stain on the pruple coated layer...
mine also hav such prob but it won't affect the quality of the pic...
tat's d purpose of the purple coated layer... only when it fall off then u'll c the quality difference..

Don't worry...the rubber earpiece is very elastic...
I played slingshot with it even... haha... but sigh...now I lost my HPM-70..

nope it won't... but i did occur once tat after plugging the charger and on the switch but it's not charging...

so by including a * in front, u wont launch any application as shortcut assigned..
