It still fun to me. Set a date with your team, go out and hunting. Heck, I even saw a lot of spoofer at the places I go and they still go out and hunting. Don't blame the game for not being fun to only start cheating. If you want to cheat, just cheat.

This game is meant for you to explore outside anyway. Most people don't like exploring for a long time, then things get repetitive, sucking out the fun and they said they lost the fun. They join because of the hype and we all know that won't last.

Seriously, this is such a simple game. It gets boring. But nowadays games is not like in the past. We can get updates and patch real quick. Game content can be added and the hype will start again.

Which is why, if you are bored now I suggest you to quit for now and not cheat. Come back when the game have a new content.

If you cheat because its not longer fun, I'm sorry. I only see that as excuses to cheat. You can just cheat without giving out excuses you know.

But in online gaming, they use server generated serial numbers to identify tradeable items.

Doesnt matter where the thing goes, they can track it.

However this process is resource heavy, can only be done when most ppl offline(sleeping).

Items created using modded packets have no serial , its yhe easiest to track. Duplicated items by exploiting server latency in trade window can create items with same serial also traceable, most server have builtin feature to reverse this error.

Those like in pogo "error" is probably 2 trainers trying to catch the same pokemon, "error" so the dont get duplicated.

Yup its still fun cause i don't rush to play it. I still farm, havent evolve my pokemons, havent gym, little rare's so there's still things to do. Just that i'm getting very tired cause have to go out after work, walk alot and stay out for few hours.

the guy who decided to the stream live on his pokemon level, he did 600k exp IN DAY on twitch,
and he got banned. lol.

Softban is not ban lah..

Its a road block Or speed limit. Game dev. can put a limit in anything the wish.

means there's something wrong with Niantic code on softbanning people.

It was deliberate. The codes were universally applied to all players.

Unless he was sanctioned by Niantic. During events niantic can just remove the limit on certain areas or even implement 5x exp or whatever they wish.

around klcc or midvalley should be able to replicate that.

if it's possible for texas player to get that huge amount of exp. it's possible for TOWN (esp Klcc area) to get that amount as well.
but I understand where you're coming from. to avoid those botters who gain huge amount of xp in an hour.
But like I said, Niantic poorly coded here cause it can't differentiate between human play and machine config.
How do you feel if you invested 200-300 dollars for lucky egg, at the end you got banned by the system because of cheating system .

They can. Some procedure requires bigger resources, how big is niantic user base? Very very huge..

Im not niantic analyst. So not so sure why.

I think some shopping mall here no problem. Air cond some more. No need to worry about rain. Maybe a good idea for charity and if can get sponsor.

The news from Kotaku not that accurate, Jimmy hit the softban around 14.5hr mark. Brent continued on until dunno when. Then rain started. Etc... Brent is the guy who's doing the streaming.

May be niantic never have thought there are hardcore outdoor gamers.

For mmo ive seen accounts running non-stop 3 days, cpuld be many players taking turns tho.

But is different since you dont have to move further from pc.

I don't think they will permaban someone that spend that much on coins/lucky egg.

Those who spend a lot are less likely to be permaban. Who would spend so much to risk getting banned.

I believe the biggest criteria are probably those who teleports or fixed movements which collects lots of
points/exp over a very long period of time.

i believe later bot dev can overcome that.

The thing with pokemon go is you cant see other players else spotting ingame cheaters will be darn easy.

But allowing others to see is also a problem worse security problem actually, since its a real location not virtual location.

During my past days .. If i see botter/cheater in game i teleport him into the walls, then disable him from respawning else where.
