does your trainer level affects the pokemon you evolve?

just caught a 93.3 IV eevee, shall i hold or can evolve now? Currently im lvl 22

Nope. Evolutions depends on the Pokemon's CP and its pre-calculated CP Multiplier. Yup, there's thing thing called CP multiplier. Each species of Pokemon has its own multiplier calculation. Google to know more about it.

common to evolve a 13xx CP gyarados? The Magikarp was 13x CP and the IV calculator show min. 88% IV. So the only random is the move set?

i already evolved the magikarp earlier, no twister perfect move set.

now waiting for better IV magikarp, had a few 130 - 140 but the IV was sad.

Just saw a friend posted on fb his 171 CP magikarp end up having twister. he was going mad lol

Thanks for the tip for the fav/unfav and off/on app technique. It really helped me to manage 94 evolves (86 normal + 8 new additions) for a total of 102k XP!

But honestly I could do faster though, was stucked enjoying the 3 animations of Vaporeon, Flareon and Exeggutor... staring in awe of its beautiful transformation

By the way, I ran on a Note 7 (yes, i was praying all the while it won't explode midway ) Really hope it stays in 1 piece till the replacement made with Samsung in 2 weeks time *touchwood*

So I have 2 more lucky eggs, will grind more and try to aim for >95 next. Will report back

94 evolves is fantastic. I'm going to try tomorrow. Currently saving up on evolves. So far 101. I think I'll prepare another 9 more then try.

btw any recommend android apps to check pokemon IV ?
currently I am using website to check them ...

Am using All G app from Play Store. Though it still use log in atleast it not overlay directly in PoGo app. It open with it own app.

bro, i tried mass evolved last saturday only manage to get 73 (67 pidgey and 6 ratata) Any special tips to get to 90 plus? I Planning for another evolve in 2 weeks times with my weedles and caterpie.

He's the using the Onoff method where you start the evolve and immediately quit the PoGo app, restart PoGo and repeat. This skips the evolve animation which saves many secs. But also depends on the speed of the device.

huh?? meaning each tiime evolved then sign out. and then sign in again to evolve another one???

means u kill the apps as soon as you confirm the evolve. Then click to load the application again.

you can trail run how many seconds you can kill and restart the app, if lesser than the animation then you can evolve more.

lucky eggs timer will stop once app is stopped????

nope, it runs with the time on your phone

i have not personally tried it, we have a few user here shared they did it.

No, it'll still be there. It's tracked server-side. That's also why if you turn back the clock 30 mins on the phone, you'll see 1hr for your lucky egg but it's actually still 30mins.
