Like someone suggest get 50Mbps n share cost with 5 neighbours.

I had to downgrade as that is the max speed available to me for my house

Becuase i cant use it for hd content ofcourse. There are 2 reasons

First off) even with my 8mbps i barely get any hd service around my area let alone 4mbps speed. Which means to say i wouldnt get the full service

Secondly) i was not made aware that i will be charged extra for my termination as the officer at tm point dully said that i had to only pay for the transfer of the address. And she did acknowledge there is no other payment i had to made. Only rm50 which will be credited into my bill. And since to my knowledge, the hypptv is provided for free for my package at that time, since there was ongoing promotion, i was not made realized that my hypptv is bounded by the 1 year contract. I thought only my highest available internet package was bounded by that contract

im on that plan. im just saying we need to get a lower price thant rm130! because its a ripoff to think that rm130 can only get 4mbps.. while rm149 can get more than double the speed by the same company. I have no issue with the service although i would like a higher speed i understand. However TM needs to understand as well that we want a price that justify the service rendered.
im not sure how big of a complaint for the pricepoint can help as TM have no competition right now

I got my streamyx Thank You surprise last year around Oct 2017, I got the free basic Hypp TV package for Free for my 4Mbps streamyx. I am glad to be offered this free package without paying anything.

However, I cut my streamyx line at DEC 2017, and there penalty me because the FREE Hypp TV subscription about RM 200 +++.

So i check back my bills, actually the Hypp TV is NOT FREE! They just deduct the streamyx amount, add up the Hypp TV amount!

Old Streamyx bill = rm88
New bill with streaymx + free hypp tv = 33 + 55 = 88!

There is a rm55 for the hypp tv! SO if i terminated the streamyx, i have to pay the remaining hypp TV for one year subscription! WTF! I thought This is FREE subscription?

Everyone, please kindly help me on this, does this make sense? Anyone facing this before?

Or may be you didn't realize, please check you bills.

Time dotCom hopes to expand its footprint in landed property segment

KUALA LUMPUR (June 1): Time dotCom Bhd is hopeful that the government will give it the "opportunity" to expand into the landed property segment of the fixed-line operating sphere.

Its group chief executive officer Afzal Abdul Rahim said the group is keen to expand its network services from enterprises and business to include landed properties. However, it currently does not have access to poles to provide connectivity to landed properties.

"Without pole access, we are not being able to rent or plant new poles and [thus,] we can't reach the landed properties," Afzal told a press conference after the group's annual general meeting today.

Afzal said Time dotCom has made its intentions clear to the government.

"We are happy to invest to expand our coverage. We just need to be given a chance to [expand coverage]," he added.

On prospects, the group anticipates continuous challenges in the telecommunications industry. However, the group still expects growth amid challenging market conditions.

"We remain cautiously optimistic. We have a small market, which is nice in the current situation and [we enjoy] relatively high margins," said Afzal.

On Thursday, Time dotCom announced its net profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2018 (1QFY18) rose 19% to RM62.94 million from RM53.05 million a year ago, on higher revenue from its data and data centre segments.

Quarterly revenue rose 6% to RM230.73 million from RM218.42 million a year ago.

At 3.53pm, the counter was up 46 sen or 6.13% at RM7.96, bringing a market capitalisation of RM4.65 billion.

like I said, priority is on postpaid. can't remember much but if I am not mistaken you can check your SLA on your sim. the last digit determine which SLA you are in.

this is basically an internal info. they won't be bothered if customer call in asking for it

even with their "upgraded plan" for streamyx users..what will they give? esp 8Mbps users then.

from here, seems those out of unifi coverage will still be "fucked" up.. those within unifi coverage might be "upgraded" to 10Mbps unifi lite from what it seems to be.

for other states if not mistaken fall under some suruhanjaya thing..

I think the only way to force tm fix coverage problem
is by forcing them to increase streamyx to max speed
and lower streamyx price at least 50%-80%
when streamyx is no longer making money
they will definitely improve unifi coverage immediately

Those who able to "upgrade" let's say, 4Mbps..they might upgrade your line to 8Mbps. Those with 8Mbps users, or users that stuck with "technical limitations" and not in unifi covered area, they might get offered with such plan. Which what we streamyx users never wanted to. Bullshit TM. Rather than reducing the price and expand the coverage, they give streamyx users more shits.

Can just tap into your expertise? If I have a Streamyx account and eligible to upgrade to UNIFI. However, the phone line is under my dad's name. Is it better to change the phone line to my name first?

The thing is, the fixed phone line rental is RM25 but it's been waived. Not sure whether this discount will still apply after change of name from my dad to myself.

All Jalan Sempadan and Lorong Sempadan X in Penang just got unifi coverage. But I am staying in high rise 20yr old building no support. Damn it.

What if terminate and apply this?

TM dare us to terminate... when I found other solutions. I will show my middle finger to TM point staff.
Right now, I am considering Celcom Home Wireless Platinum package (monthly quota 1TB).

Thought of that. But both using lite package and i don't want spoil good neighbour relations over slow WiFi.
I managed to get a discount though. rm130 for 8mbps

emailed tm to enquire on eligibility of unifi in my area...  after saying unifi not available at first now unifi available for my house. 139 for 30mbps... haha.. to signup for unifi need to go tmpoint to terminate existing plan and pay rm20 since i no under ocntract... which is 88 for 4mp under uni package...  but this tm keep msg me ask me to reply yes so that this tues they go my house install. =.=

obviously this tuesday noone wil be home to attend to the installation? lol? so u send ur worker to someones house to start a job without knowing when the owneer wil be home...

Please.. What is the reasonable price for streamyX 4mbps that  I can request for? I'm just making a complaint for price reduction. RM 80 is it reasonable? Or even should be lower than?
