Great FC, well packaged with duo airbags, ABS and EBD, sporty looking, revvy and responsive engine, easy to maintain, that what i can summon the good parts.

Bad part? Kinda cramped and poor interior quality. Also quite overpriced for such car as the city is proven a better value.

I think; 1 air bag, no mp3 player, no fog light, interior different colour, 14" rim, different brakes (front and back)

New Waja?! Trade the FC with space and leather seats?? Actually you would have extra 20k to compensate for the lack of FC the new Waja has. Bargain or not you decide. tongue.gif

Cheapest toyota model. Not as good as the Altis nor Camry. Entry level class. Too. Compact. not enough leg room..
My suggestion you should forget about Vios G and straight go for either an Altis or Camry instead..

I suggest you to think of city as well. City VTEC offers everything vios G spec offers. Been in a vios, honestly, it is cramp for the back seat, build quality i would say so so only (city is much better). Never driven 1 so cant give any driving experience bout it.

They say 2006 Vios is from Thailand, while earlier ones were from UMWT. From these I guess there would be some quality differences.

And I heard the new 2006 fix from issues from earlier batches. Especially the cram part. So I'm not sure you are comparing to which yr of make.

Btw, some City owner do have headache on CVT gear as well. Very few even replaced it twice. Look in some forum the price is RM17k for the CVT gear. Heard the CVT problems has been solved in new models but warranty claims on CVT City gears do date back 'til Oct 2006 (this isn't that far back). But all these I saw on forums, not solid fact in front of my eyes.

So give & take, and do more research. wink.gif

for the same price of a vios G, you could get a city with much bigger space, same safety features and almost equal FC, best of all, you could choose IDSI and VTEC version.

No lah, the cheapest is the E version. Altis outdated already, replacement coming soon. Come to think of it, Vios replacement also coming soon smile.gif
