Hi Guys, anyone get a good overclock for Palit GTX1070 Jetstream, i can only get +125 on core clock and 700 of Mem, such bad OC..
*
so whats your stable oc core clock and mem? mine only can reach 2050mhz core clock.. anymore higher will crash the driver..

try using afterburner 4.3.0 beta.. can increase voltage may contribute to better oc. seems more stable using afterburner compared to palit thundermaster

Guys. Any tips on how to oc?

I am using zotac gtx 1060 mini and due to the nature of the cooler i am scared it wont stay stable after oc.

So my question is how to determine what is the safe limit for oc?

I am using msi afterburner.

Previously the temp hover around 80+ when gaming but i started playing with the fan curve the max temp reach only 60+.

Hopefully sifus here can guide. Thanks

just curious whats the different between having single 8pin power, dual 8 or single 6+8pin version of the gtx1070, better stability for oc?

Power, which mostly affect OC ability or factory set frequency. Better have more room than limited.
PCI-E give 75W, 6pin give 75W, 8pin give 150W

Amount of power it can deliver to the GPU

More pins = more power used if the gpu wish to chug more.

Although other variables can come in effect like the power phases in the GPU, or the PSU

Stability in OC only compromised by power if youre not giving enough juice

U should check memory overclock if it's actually increasing or decreasing Ur score in benchmark, someone mention high overclock is unstable and the ecc kicks in so it's actually slower on overclock.net.

Personally I just test which ever heaviest job I would normally did on my computer, so ya gaming tongue.gif
You may stress it using some famous tools like FurMark, some OC tools also have build in stress test themselves.

test it to the max then, throw in max power limit, throw in as much core/mem clock as you like then downgrade until stable

anddd thats your best OC ability without touching voltage

so far the trend is that the OC ability is severely limited to a point for Pascal cards

Depends on which model.

If it's already factory OCed then limitation is there, you can't push that much already.

Dont do EXTRA thing , Palit 1070 Jetstream cooling system is great , idle temp without fans spin around 36c , load temp around/less than 70c .

Two Titan X Pascals in hand. Well, not literally....in the hands of the forwarding agent in the US. Shipping out today once confirmation that the HB SLI Bridge has arrived and packed together.  Should be here next week. rclxm9.gif
