This is a prepaid plan, so you need to have credit to purchase more syox30 plan besides the initial purchase when you register for xox. You can also purchase it using card/bank account if you buy it thru xox black app. But, this plan does not offered all the time, only during certain days called happy hour. Like other data plan, you need to activate it, it does not activate immediately, so you can collect as many as you want and activate it later

Some flaw, since xox does not provide any basic data, you need to search for other internet source to activate syox30. Xox need to make it easy to redeem thru ussd, not everybody has other source of internet to open black app

Try dialing *150*1# and look for "Data", if there is none then your active data is finished, and you need to pull more data from your 8gb season pass

To take the data out of season pass, dial *150# and select 3 internet, then choose 3 subscribe from season pass, and select the plan according to your usage

Yes. Say you wat to use only 500mb this month, when you select this option, your remaining data will be 7.5gb and the 500mb is now usable exactly 30 days to the second. My recommendation is take slightly lower data quota compared to your usual monthly usage, so none go to waste

A month ago your dealer must have activated 2gb out of 10gb you purchased, and disabled the auto renew. Did you get the message saying you have used 80% of your data, something like that? If not, then your monthly usage is less than 2gb.

If you got message saying you have used 100% of your data, that means 2gb is not enough for your monthly usage. If you use more than 5gb per month I suggest you to take other telco sim after you finished your data season pass, and keep using onexox as call-only number. I hope you have phone with dual sim slot, or one physical sim and one e-sim.

Usage of 5gb per month is no longer economical since price per gb is rm5, and you can get so much more data with others. Some examples are:

1. Hotlink 10gb rm20 (no e-sim)
2. Yoodo 20gb rm20 (promotional, can end one day, have e-sim)
3. Yes 20gb rm20 (no e-sim)

Because main attraction for xox prepaid is the bring forward minutes and the validity, not the data actually (although welcome pass data + minutes are quite affordable if you count the cost per unit compared to happy hour)

Yeah many are attracted to the initial validity, then... Rm25/year. But xox is the only telco that offers stacked validity so each rm1 reload extends your validity by a day

Data can only be carry forward if you let it sit in season pass. Once you take it out, you have until the stated validity to use and remainder will burn

This is why you can't use your data suddenly, since the data validity elapses and you no longer have access to what's left of that 2gb

If you want the cheapest validity you should go for Unifi mobile prepaid, your validity is reset back to 90 days as long as there is usage such as redeeming 1gb daily

Anyway, since you already bought xox, you are gonna have peace of mind for the next 28 months, so set reminder at the end of the validity and consider if you want to pay rm25 per year to xox or switch to options above

But then, the free data ends this year, so... Nvm later think!

Price for 1-2gb per month is hard to justify, but with unifi until December you get 1gb daily all purpose for free, so you just need to reload rm20 and purchase 200 minutes. Best of all, call is counted by the seconds. If you call gets diverted to voicemail and you end the call in 3 seconds, the remaining call balance left is 199 minutes 57 seconds

After free data ends perhaps you should stay with xox. Xox does not provide free data, so next year if you get notification for konfem dapat, usually 10+3gb data for rm50, that is the cheapest legal way to add more data to your season pass. Otherwise, ask your dealer if they sells data, if they offer less than rm4 per gb that is quite a deal, although that cant beat the welcome season pass at rm2.50 per gb. Unifi mobile will be expensive, rm50 for 8gb...

These telco switching is tiresome, it is ok if you stay with xox and do not take unifi, as only first time user with welcome pass is granted 28 months of validity, and that 8gb can last you until next year. However, if you use phone with dual sim card you wont need the hassle of mnp here and there. So if you are, from next year on, get hotlink 365 with rm20 10gb data, and use this sim exclusively for data. Don't make any calls as the rate is 30¢ per min which is 3 times xox call rates. Continue using Unifi or xox for calls

If you don't make calls and use around 1-2gb per month then hotlink 365 is the best plan now

But if you plan on spending nothing Unifi is the one

After pandemic and after all the benefits ends then you can port to xox to enjoy 28 months

Be sure to check your coverage first!

Rm50 10gb is not their main advantage, people seeking xox prepaid for their long life and ability to use as little as 500mb per month and minutes in season pass can be carried forward, of course need to buy data and sometimes confirm dapat can offer 13-14gb at rm50, you just have to seize the opportunity

If you use more than 4gb data per month you can look for other telcos, so much value can be obtained at rm20
