To do a quick check on Season Pass balance, use short code *132# ..... alternatively short code *150*1# will also show remaining season pass and data plan balance.

Your understanding of how season pass works is correct. However, the new data plans are auto-renewed except daily 1GB plan. I recommend using easy menu *150# to subscribe to your desired data plan and also stop auto-renewal using the same menu.

The 500MB free for RM30 monthly topup promo have been extended until 31st December 2017. You will get the free 500MB within 36 hours of accumulated RM30+ monthly topup. You can also ask for XMC (xox membership club) voucher from your dealer to get an additional 500MB for the first 12 months of RM30 topup.

Hello everyone,

I'd like to let all onexox subscribers/users know that the 500MB for 30days data plan have been re-implemented and can now be subscribed through easy menu *150# ..... available for subscription using either credit deductions and/or season pass quota.

I believe this is good news for onexox subscribers with older season pass rates and for low data usage users.

1. First successful mnp gets immediate 28 months validity.

2. New number/starter packs with minimum rm10 topup within 24 hours of registration gets 28 months validity updated within 14 days.

3. New starter packs that subscribes to any SP FAT promo within 10 days of registration gets immediate 28 months validity.

4. New starter packs with a total reload of rm50 within 30 days of registration gets 28 months validity updated within 14 days.

If you do a first time mnp then it's only rm10 for the simcard (and you will get automatic 28 months validity upon successful mnp).

For new starter pack/new number the minimum is rm10 for simpack + rm10 for topup = rm20 total (28 months validity will be updated within 14days).

Yes, The monthly plan is for a full 30 days period. Example: Subscription period 17:00pm 28/06/2017 until 16:59pm 28/07/2017

Kindly take a peek at my thread (click my sig below) to get some info on ONEXOX prepaid.

The price of new starter packs (new numbers) or mnp simpack is RM10 (RRP). OneXOX uses celcom infrastructure (2G/3G/4G+)

The prepaid credits available for calls/sms tariffs is divided into DA (dedicated account) and MA (Main account). DA is dedicated for lower calls and sms only. MA is for other uses such as internet subscription and calls/sms when DA is depleted. Standard data plans are also offered for normal subscriptions using prepaid credits.

To maximize savings, this is where Season Pass comes in:

1. 333 voice minutes Season Pass @ RM30 roughly gives call rates of 9 sen per minute. Upon purchase of voice minutes, all local calls (+60 numbers) will first be deducted from here. Calls using season pass are per 60 seconds block.

2. Data FAT10 Season Pass @ RM50 means RM5 per 1GB. This season pass is really just a data quota storage/wallet. When you need to use data, you only take out whatever amount you need to use as a block.

Ex: You bought 10GB season pass and you only need 500MB a month for whatsapp. So, you subscribe to a 500MB/30days data plan like usual ... but the system will deduct 500MB from your season pass. The system does not touch or deduct any credits. Instead of paying for 500MB/30days plan at RM12, you now effectively only pay RM2.50 for 500MB/30days data plan.

All season pass balance remains valid until your number is terminated.

All new starter packs/mnps are entitled to purchase all or either one of Special Season Pass (FATVOICE 333 @RM30 / FAT5 @ RM30 / FAT10 @ RM50) within 10 days of activation/registration.

You can look around your neighborhood/town/city for onexox dealers (or websearch for them). If you're unable to find one (for whatever reason), reach out to any of ONEXOX dealers on LYN forum who will be more than willing to assist (can pm me with all your queries if you like).

Hopefully I may be able to clear things up a bit.

In practice, Special Season Pass FAT works like this, ex:

1. New starter pack is purchased by a subscriber and followed with a SP FAT10 subscription (immediately or within 10 days).

2. Special SP FAT10 entitles the new subscriber to get a) 10GB data Season Pass b) immediate 28months validity update c) a one time only 10GB/30days data plan for free.

3. In essence, the subscriber pays for a 10GB data season pass plus a 10GB/30days data plan (2-in-1).

4. The data plan works just like a normal/standard 10GB/30days data plan. It is a full 30 days cycle.

5. Clause #6 is telling subscribers what will happen after that 30 days period lapse. It will automatically renew with the same 10GB/30days data plan and the quota will be deducted from season pass. If the season pass balance is insufficient then the renewal will deduct from DA/MA credit balances. If the total credit balance is insufficient then the renewal will fail.

What is not mentioned in the TnC is how to turn-off auto-renewal (send DATA AR OFF to 22111 or use ussd menu *150#) ... and it now becomes part of our job as dealers to advise and remind our customers to disable auto-renewal whenever a new subscriber gets the special SP FAT10 add-on.

There are four ways to activate the 500MB/30days data plan

a) Use the ussd *150# menu

b) Send sms "DATA FAT500" to 22111

c) via MyXOX app

d) via selfcare at https://selfcare.xox.com.my/SelfCare/Login


As long as you have sufficient Season Pass balance, the system will deduct the 500MB data quota amount from your season pass first.

To clarify, when a new subscriber (sp/mnp) purchase a special SP FAT10 within 10 days of activation/registration and within the welcome data promo period (23/05/2017 until 31/08/2017), he is entitled to a one-time-only free 10GB monthly data plan. This free data quota is a standard 30 days data plan that comes with auto-renewal. Auto-renewal can be disabled at anytime.

All season pass balance follows main account validity.

Lets say you now have 28 months validity and then you subscribe to 1 year extended validity for a total of 40 months validity. Your season pass balance will also follow the main account 40 months validity. Hope that helps to answer your question.

A1. ONEXOX does not have basic internet or pay-per-use internet.

A2. Season Pass (SP) balance remains valid for 28+ months (will follow account validity if it is further extended).

Assuming you have purchased SP FAT 5GB then you have also been given a free 5GB monthly data plan (this plan is valid for 30 days). After this free 5GB/30days data plan finishes, it will auto-renew to another 5GB/30days data plan. To avoid this, you must cancel auto-renewal by sending DATA AR OFF to 22111.

To clarify, the mnp simpack costs RM10 and no further topup (free) is necessary to get 28 months validity for 1st successful mnp. Whereby rm10 topup is the minimum required for new starter packs (which itself costs rm10) to gain 28 months validity.

What adiwarna meant by carry forward is the Season Pass balance. When subscribed to a daily/weekly/monthly period data plans, the required quota is taken out of season pass data wallet for use. Any season pass balance whether voice or data remains valid for as long as the account/number is valid.

Mobile internet data plans are time period subscription based. The data plan subscription works just like any other normal mobile internet data plans whereby any unused quota will be forfeited at the end of the subscription period.

I would like to add a few bits to what adiwarna has explained ...

Yes, your understanding is spot on. Season pass validity = account validity. Your account validity will be further extended whenever you make a topup (added or stacked to existing validity). It can also be extended by purchasing 1 year extension for as many times as you like (AFAIK, there is no subscription limit ... maybe just credit limit smile.gif ).

When you have finished to your subscribed 500MB/monthly data quota, internet access will stop (remember: there is no pay-per-use or basic internet). You can just re-subscibe to the same (or a different) data plan and override the old plan.

Only monthly data plans have auto-renewal and it will only renew at the end of 30 days. It does not auto-renew if quota finished halfway. Auto-renewal can also be disabled after subscribing to a monthly data plan by sending DATA AR OFF to 22111.
