International & domestic departure flights in Kuching airport is shared in the same area / hall . There's only 1 PPL in there . Hence , all domestic & international flights shared to use the PPL . I am very clear on that because every year i will be there few times.

Well , i have used my PremierMiles card to access PPL everytime i back to KL from KCH . I have no issues for entering even my flights is domestic.

My last trip to Kuching was at April this year 2018 , fly from KCH to KUL . There was no issues for me to access this PPL with my PremierMiles card before departure. And before this trip,  on March 2018, i access PPL at Penang too with the same card , fly from Penang back to KUL as well . So far for me , i was able to access PPL with PremierMiles card to fly domestic in Penang and Kuching, except Kota Kinabalu which i never been there before.

It used to be ok previously. Now you would need different cards from different banks to access. This is confirmed for both KLIA and KLIA2 ppls. That is why you need to apply for credits cards from different banks in order to bring your more people in. 

If need to pay in order to go in ppl. I rather go eat at old town...

My worst delay was in Bangkok.
3pm delayed till 3am.
No notice in advance, keep on delaying a few hours and finally the flight only reached by 3am.
Got some voucher to spend on food.

Is that possible i get in the lounge after the flight? Example i just landed and then i head to the lounge for shower food etc.

Perhaps, not too sure.
If I knew it will delayed for 12 hours, I will at least go back to City or choose to fly the next day.

Never tried Aerotel plaza premium lounge. How to go from the plaza premium lounge near food court in klia2 ? Is it very far?

PPL is no longer like 5-10 years ago. I don’t feel it’s premium anymore. 5 years ago when I went it, it’s not crowded and you can really relax before flight. Now it’s too crowded and so many foreigners sleeping on the couch. Disgusting

I know infant is free. I read somewhere that infinite holder (guest) can get 20% discount

Go to The Green Market better than PPL. RHB VS can go to TGM, used before.

The original gateway ppl has shower facility, and is also a transit hotel, but you need to pay extra for the rest rooms, and is expensive and not worth it....

The new Aerotel ppl has more space and better food, but no showers....

So choose based on what you need....

It's significantly more expensive than Tune hotel. A single room for 3 hrs is rm235, a double is rm358....you can get a 12hr double for rm250 with Agoda sometimes, which is about the same as a 24hrs tune hotel room....

My conclusion is, better off with tune hotel....if just a few hrs during daytime, tune has their day stay rooms for much cheaper...

Alternatively, use the container....

Ask the supp to apply as principal holder as well... 

Hi sifu2, I have two cards from different banks that allow access to PPL KLIA2@Gateway. I’m travelling with my wife and don’t want to leave her outside. Is there any chance that I could bring my wife in by swiping each card once?

As I feared, after years of abuses, all banks are clamping down on the lounge accesses....

Rhb was good for domestic access, after the others removed....but now they join the other banks to restrict access....no more domestic travel access now, completely removed Kuching, it appears the landside klia2 lounges will now be restricted to international travels only.... although it's silent on the gateway lounge.....

One entry a day per cardholder.... unclear if you can use different card to enter same day at different lounge....

Honest bonefide travellers are now punish together with abusers....

Not really....there isn't any significant removal of benefits for lower tier cards, and the changes, particularly removed of domestic access, applies to both "normal" cards as well as the premier cards....

So premier customers are equally affected.....no exception....
