If you use Penang, kk or Kuching, you can use as the lounges are in the domestic airside....

Unfortunately, both KLIA and KLIA2 do not have lounges in the domestic airside....

if the landside ppls are located in the domestic airside, there will be none of these issues...unfortunately, whoever designed the airport failed to allocate space for such outlets....same with klia, limited space in domestic, they had to convert the domestic passage into shopping....

meanwhile, they build a huge shopping centre in klia2....lol

their target it seems is not air travellers, but the general public....

supps no free entry....they changed the rule some 3 years ago already....

only lounges in the bank's list will accept the bank's cards....the ppl stable is quite wide, and even cards like maybank vi, and ambank vi/wmc do not include all in their lists...aerotel ppl is new, and afaik, not included in any bank's list as yet....

bne ppl was not in maybank's list till recently....rhb only cover local lounges...etc...so you have to check from you bank what is included....it changes all the time....eg tgm changi is now off most lists....

In the past, there were occasions when ppl got too busy, and they divert customers to FC....

I suspect you can register your entry at ppl, and request to use fc instead....

Incidentally, if you use tgm at KLIA2, your entry is registered as entry into ppl on the receipt....

not in list of maybank, ambank and rhb as yet....but they may do it like tgm....register based on entering ppl gateway.... just as they allow rhb card to eat at tgm although it's not listed in rhb's list....the receipt states ppl gateway....

You can sleep on the lounge chair....but for the bedrooms, you need to pay.... exorbitant....better to just book a room at tune hotel....

That's why I said you are better off booking a 24hr room at tune hotel....lol

With the crowds in ppl lately, not sure about relaxation....lol

The main reason for ppl is the shower, which unfortunately seems perpetually "under renovation" lately...

I have never seen anyone paying to enter local ppl lounges....all free....lol

But I have seen angmoh pay for the one in BNE.... probably claim as business travel....

The klia ppl is particularly very crowded in the mornings and evenings....

As of last week, yes...wonders if they have given up on it and permanently close them....

there has never been a ppl in t2...but you can easily take the aerotrain to t1 to use the ppl there....and yes, ambank cards can access....you can also have a set meal at tgm at t2....it's a public access restaurant, not a lounge...

Hmm. Still there in the list I have, from Ambank's website.

Both landside locations, and to include the new one next to wellness spa, should be off the list, due to misuse....they should really have a lounge for the domestic airside, both terminals....

like i said above, there is a big vacuum in lounges for the domestic airsides of both terminals....

there are lounges in klia2 landside, and some cards allow entry, eg maybank, rhb.....but ambank has removed access due to abuse...

It is not listed in the Maybank visa infinite site...

No wine....only beer....

Not credit cards itself, but priority pass, which some cc comes with....

Been to a 3rd party lounge in Narita and Korean air lounge in Osaka courtesy of Maybank before they withdraw from the pp scheme....nothing very interesting...in fact the Narita lounge was dismal....no hot food at all....in hindsight, should have just go eat ramen!
