QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Sep 29 2016, 05:29 PM) If the amount is big, it will exceed the teller limit I was thinking that some people may sell AS1M after dividend payout over few days next week. So may have to patiently try over the days. Thus, the teller need to refer to officer for overriding limit Tis process will take times which may determine the success/failure rate for each try But then for ASM and ASW, may have to change my strategy of buying later, like u end of the month. But will have to see how things go next week. So many possibilities. Have to keep my options open. |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Sep 29 2016, 07:05 PM) I tried AS1M via Affin online but can not for the past few days. I have done that a few time successfully in the past. But now, when I clicked to buy, the screen just stayed the same instead of the usual form for one to fill in. When I registered in CIMB online for the 3 FP funds, 2 of them approved the next day. AS1M up to now still not yet. Guess it is due to the suspension till next week.Am I the only one having that problem? |

QUOTE(twinkle5129 @ Sep 29 2016, 07:00 PM) Stick to Affin bank and start from tomorrow with ASM & ASW. IF your IBFT max limit/day 50k, make sure all your 6-7 digits are ready in the account to 'gobble' down all the units by tomorrow and next week. No dough for now. So still have to wait till next Tuesday. It's better to sit in the bank/ multiple visits unless you've 'connection'. I guess, tomorrow is your top up day too. Are you aiming for specific account or any of 3? For me, the process doesn't take long. My bank staff will just shout across to bank manager once he hits certain target. Just need to sign 'declaration' form once transactions successful. Usually I'm the only customer in the bank. Going to do RENTAS on Tuesday to send to Affin. Then to go there. Going to be busy days next weeks. Terminating FD/Klibor/GIA-i, transferring dough, buyig FP units, doing FD also. Multiple banks to go to ! Need to have patience like u to do all these. |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 29 2016, 10:07 PM) Just apply the online approval nia. So who cares if they approve next week. Apply all 3 funds online transaction at the same time. Don't tell me apply 2 then next week apply AS1M. U have to get approved by ASNB before any online purchase can be performed. Not sure if have to be by bank basis. I applied for CIMB one. QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 29 2016, 10:27 PM) I kind of give up on this online purchase. Apply 1 day, next day know accept/reject. If reject, dough back when still unknown. So only if lazy to go out, then play play. But small sum will do. |

QUOTE(twinkle5129 @ Sep 30 2016, 07:37 AM) Just be careful if you're carrying CASH. Although I used to have habits of carrying cash from 1 place to another. I don't have the habit of carrying large amt of cash. Will use RENTAS to xfer dough to Affin, then make use of Affin's 50k daily limit to xfer out the excess fund once target reached or give up ! |

Then people interest on Klibor. Those interested please see @cherroy's post 802 in the FD thread. It include the info I have given but in more definitive terms. Please don't PM or ask me any more info on Klibor. Thanks ! https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=81911271 This post has been edited by bbgoat: Sep 30 2016, 09:55 AM |

QUOTE(Kerry1136 @ Sep 30 2016, 03:39 PM) What's PB? Just to clear the air:I usually just pass it to the person I know and take it back during late afternoons if I decided to leave early from office. PB normally refer to Priority, Privilege, Preferred, Premier Banking. Depending on banks, can be from 200k (Alliance Bank) to around 500k (UOB) AUM. Private banking is different level. Normally is 3 million and above AUM, though Maybank limit seems to be much lower and depends on invitation only. |

QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Sep 30 2016, 10:51 PM) I am going for the FP fund. No fun (or fund ? QUOTE(nexona88 @ Oct 1 2016, 12:11 AM) If do OTC, on the spot u know.. I think I prefer OTC esp for large fund. This online purchase is just play play only. The <3k even ASM also cannot get. Was thinking many has luck on ASM. That's why it's my choice eventho it cost more (petrol & parking charges) :blush QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Oct 1 2016, 07:37 AM) That gives me more confidence next week. Other than AS1M, can still target ASM for 5 digits. |

QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Oct 1 2016, 01:02 PM) Got to do a lot of running. But end up may just be 5 digits of FP funds bought, same as yours yesterday. Or may be holding on to some cash, then over say 2 weeks try to dispose of the cash, trying to get more FP. Hehehe ! This post has been edited by bbgoat: Oct 1 2016, 01:48 PM |

QUOTE(OPT @ Oct 2 2016, 03:25 PM) I'm starting to be very interested in Kenanga too, been reading nowadays but no action yet. Glad to have this tough competitor for FP out of the way.Afterall, I have at least 85% salary savings to invest every month...can't be realistically expected to camp day in day out for ASX FP in the future 💪 Wow, 85% salary savings every month ! |
