Will be interesting tomorrow to buy the AS1M. Busy day also as have to run to few banks.
AVFAN, for the expired CIMB Klibor, was it deposited to the CASA or we have to go to CIMB to dispose of the dough ? Mine still not deposited yet, maybe because of the holiday. Prefer it in the CASA so that I can just IBFT it out over few days. This post has been edited by bbgoat: Oct 3 2016, 12:15 PM |

When surfing Fund Supermart, saw the definition of HNWI. Maybe this is M'sia definition of HNWI ?

Earlier I said the online application for AS1M subscription in CIMB was not approved. Today the status was changed to Approved. So now all 3 application for FP approved. But with the "bad" experience of buying ASM, will just use it for play play only.

QUOTE(plumberly @ Oct 3 2016, 08:16 PM) Many thanks. I have also tried to get the data online. Why is ASNB not showing the past annual reports now? Just saw the data. So your kawan has increased over the years ? The updated data is here. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry81953641 Some surprises. |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Oct 4 2016, 08:41 AM) The recent chit chat on HNWI, VHNWI and UHNWI prompted the top group comparison in ASM & AS1M. While I was looking at the charts, u have posted the above ! Good wishful target to pursuit! I don't think my data will show up next year. Current thinking is not to park so much this year. Once my target reached, will stop buying the FP. My allocation is still FD much higher than this FP fund. Anyway today hopefully can get higher amt of AS1M ! |

I said this morning that ASNB FP is UT. After that I know there will be comments on this.
Anyway each of us have different perspective on our funds. I make allocations for FD, UT, shares (local/US) etc. So as u can see, I am still buying the FP units. Now my allocation for it is about the same as what I have for Public Mutual (got into Gold level). It still has risk same as even FD (if we put too much in one bank). Just like I would not cancel all FD and put in FP funds. So not all eggs in one basket and have allocations for it. That is all I want to say. |

QUOTE(twinkle5129 @ Oct 4 2016, 07:05 PM) For Affin Bank, no need all the above T & C. Somehow, majority will end up opening basic saving accounts as it's easier and safer with CASA transaction. Tomorrow still going to Affin. Then MBB to terminate my GIA-i. May go to CIMB to try. Funds losing interest, idling ! |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Oct 4 2016, 07:07 PM) not me. but u know who lor. I have high regards for the person. Yes, I know who u are referring to. I don't think I will get near to the amt that he is holding in the FP funds.hint: previously very active. but now not so active. only recently started back "small" after seeing u here well I guess there's a lot of "demand" that's why, needed to reduced till 10k The Affin teller was telling me that I was lucky to strike the 50k in one try. She even tell her colleagues about it. However unable to get any units for ASM and ASW. Heard that difficult to get ASM. This post has been edited by bbgoat: Oct 4 2016, 07:11 PM |

Oh one more thing. Need to try <50k in one shot.
Affin told me 50k or more need to fill up form to BNM !! Took additional 10 to 15 minutes for Affin girl to do it for the 50k shot. Additional paperwork and some online things to fill up. I have to sign the form as well !! Not sure if other banks have this issue. This post has been edited by bbgoat: Oct 4 2016, 07:15 PM |

Was in AmBank to withdraw FD. Was thinking of doing it there. However, their staff has just attended training on ASNB transaction, not even sure of the VP and FP funds. Instead tried to sell me other bond funds.
Their system NOT ready yet for ASNB transaction. |
