I am reminded that the 79230 is tad thicker than its 79220 smiley text predecessor, owing to the fact that the former's inhouse caliber is thicker than the latter's ETA one. One of the reasons that makes the 79220 still appealing somewhat. Agreed, Nomos is an excellent choice for that RM6-7k range budget. One can acquire a new Nomos Ludwig manual wind 38mm within that range, and still have some money left over for shipping and import duty if need be. I actually think there was guy selling a preowned manual wound Nomos Ludwig on MWF some time ago. I would have suggested a Sinn, but owing to the Maurice lacroix reference, the Ludwig would be a better choice.
