Early day out, headed for the hills. Although... this picture was taken after pitting safely home, hence why the time is no longer early

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 19 2019, 04:23 PM) Not sure how 'off'. On left is 15400 from boutique, just recently worn so case is still sharp. On right is 15300, 7 years old and went through a polish, so edges no longer as sharp. Both blue dials are different; yellow lighting throws the colour of the dial way off. Maybe I just suck at taking pics, hehe.![]() |

Luckily, you have a spare plexi. More importantly, how do you know that the damage does not go past that scratched plexi?
As for the shop, I would say give them hell. Why not name and shame? Did it snap off and fall in front of them? Rubber straps have a lifespan, whether being worn or just sitting around; I think most bros with Seiko rubber straps find that the rubber straps do break off after 5 years or so. What do they mean by supplier responsibility? Does it mean they will pursue it with supplier? What an easy way to brush something off. |

I don't have any experience with any Seamasters, but a Speedmaster on the right bracelet or strap can be incredibly comfortable for daily wear. And, I think there are enough variations to satisfy just about everyone.

Last night's 50th Anniversary celebration of the Moon Landing. Unfortunately, not very many watches on display at all. Perhaps more interesting was the Speedies that turned up on wrists.

Hands on with the JLC Gyrotourbillon 3. At a snip under 44mm, this is a chunky (and also very thick) watch. Certainly commands presence. Luckily, raba-raba is free.

Gyro 3 has an astronomical price of close to RM2mil.
Meanwhile, closer to the normal stratosphere of things, I've been thinking about the MUT range quite a bit. Thought I'd try them on the wrist to see how they'd fit: ![]() ![]() ![]() And just for the heck of it... ![]() This post has been edited by r3kahsttub: Dec 12 2019, 02:24 PM |

Yes, its possible to get an automatic watch for lady around RM500. Plenty of options by Seiko; browse online or in-store (but remember to ask for discount if in-store).
And just to kick-start this off for you, here are some options: 1) Option 1 2) Option 2 3) Option 3 Just browse around and you'll get a good idea of what you want soon. This post has been edited by r3kahsttub: May 18 2020, 06:02 PM |

Yeah, there'll be Orients in that range as well, although I am not familiar and don't know if they have any elegant ladies watches. I am a big fan of the Seiko 5 for ladies; I have bought my ex-gf a few for important dates.

TT GMT is one of the most underrated watches in the GMT line-up. Everose is arguably nicer than YG, but then YG was the only option for many years, before finally getting discontinued.
