It wasn't in MY bro. I think you are thinking about World of Watches? They carry Junghans and Sinn if I am not mistaken.

Nomos is carried by THG but only in SG, this marks their official entry into MY. Good lo, maybe now people won't tell me shit like you buy Nomos ah, later how to service must send to Germany and get stolen by DHL wor.. 😗😗

Congrats on the SS! I think I'd choose this over your PP mate....

Ah yes WoW. They did not carry Nomos. But you have always been able to order Nomos from WoS from Gardens; this has been the case for a few years now at least.

Omega's Seamaster and Speedmaster are quite different models side by side. Do you have something more specific in mind?

Just to share some of my thoughts:

- amongst them all, I find myself wearing the Seamaster NTTD the most; largely due to comfort and lightness
- I went with SMP300 white on rubber -- the strap is very well designed and I love the small details like how there's a nib in the keeper to hold itself in place
- I do not like the SMP300 bracelet; too chunky and clumsy for me
- I like all my Speedmasters and while most of them are very similar, I feel they are also very different
- early batch 1861 speedy has gasket issues and tend to have condensation; easy fix is gasket replacement (usually affected FOIS and regular 1861 speedmaster)
- winding Speedmaster daily is not an issue for me
- bracelet on the 3861 is huge improvement over the 1861; in terms of design and wearability
- low WR on speedy has never been an issue to me and my daily activities

Yes, NTTD is lighter than Pelgaos. The Pelagos is Grade 5 Ti on case only, the caseback and bracelet is steel. NTTD on the other hand is Grade 2 Ti, which is "purer" and as a result, slightly softer and lighter as well. The whole case, crowns, bracelet is titanium, and weighs just 97g iirc.

Excellent choice, enjoy in good health bro.

Yesterday's first #speedytuesday GTG, hosted by Omega Malaysia. As usual, top notch experience with the brand.

Hey man, thats a gorgeous MING!

A long time lurker here, but could you share the process of getting one of these? Also, how easy/hard was it?

Cheers!

There's no real process to it. Just wait on the site until the window opens up, add to cart and check out. I did it twice, both times made it through without any hiccups.

Yesterday, at the preview of a fairly new brand. Only been around since 2018 or so and not yet in Malaysia. Trilobe presents a novel way of telling time without the traditional hands, utilizing rotating discs instead.

Hey folks, sorry wanna ask further about grey market dealers vs AD, coz I’m not so familiar. If I understand correctly from the previous posts, if it’s not AD, it’s grey market.

So I’m looking to get the Omega Speedy. From Omega’s website I only see Cortina Watches as the only 3rd party AD. Does that mean even those other big shops carrying Omega like The Hour Glass and Swiss Watch Gallery (by the Valiram group) are grey market dealers for Omega, since they’re not listed on Omega’s main website?
*
AD = authorised distributor
Grey = used watch shop i.e. non licensed sellers (often have new and pre-owned as well)

For Omega, they have mostly migrated to Boutique only (as in, the store is wholly owned by Omega and not an AD). Cortina still carry the Omega brand (believe they also represent Omega in KK). As for THG, I am not sure if they still carry Omega; to my memory they no longer do. The last one was in Lot 10, but I cannot remember if they still have Omega in Penang. Swiss Watch Gallery no longer carries Omega (they used to be AD as well).
