To all sifus here,

I really2 need help. I am using Ubiquiti Unifi USG Pro Gateway router, trying to connect VoIP server (I am using freepbx) to tm unifi vdsl. Voip server is 10.30.1.10 in subnet 10.30.0.0/16. From my colleague, TM VoIP is on VLAN 400. I have retrieved SIP account from modem and already put into VoIP server.

If I do setting like below, my ubiquiti USG gateway will drop pppoe 2 and make it dhcp, which i will lose the internet connection.

i am planning to adjust settings like this:

what i see there, M12000 have technical documentation saying 16 Ports 10G (SFP+) ; so, ES‑16‑XG is compatible with M12000, as the edgeswitch able to support 10G sfp+

regarding to the forum.. they end up give comment on this matter and give other solutions. spf+ prefered than DAC

just confirm with malaysia site, there is no current sfp switches available to test in malaysia site, else, i would like to test with ruijie too.

yeah, not planning to use with dac and there are a few transceiver reported working from that thread. just interested with ES‑16‑XG for its low price compare with other 10Gb switch brand even you have to buy it from abroad. ruijie distro quote over rm60k for one 16-port expansion module. D-link also sell similar 8-port sfp+ switch but with rm19k price tag... so it's worth a look. anyway, thank you.

My controller is on v.5.06 , because of the issue I recently updated the UAP firmware and hadn't encounter any issue yet.

was planning to overhaul my home network, currently:

- main Archer C7 (PPoE, 2.4Ghz WDS AP, 5GHZ)
- 801ndv7 2.4GHz Client WDS
- 840RE 2.4GHz Client WDS

First 2 running DDWRT w/QoS and some filters turned on for Access Restrictions
My main pain point is coverage as I have a dead zone in my home where none of the WiFi signals can reach, even if its literraly 10steps away from the router

I guess my point is this, is it worth swapping out the C7 and 801nd for ER-L and AP AC (or LR)? My main upgrade point is the security and filtering I would be able to do that is not possible with DDWRT (stuff gets broken in newer builds quite often :/ )

I could technically keep the C7 and add in ER-L > AP AC > C7 (Rebroadcast)
Or is there a better way to do this?
