Now got promotion for free upgrade to vista. Ur lappy just got 2 slot ma. If 2x512MB then full alr lo. Like that u have to remove 1 RAM b4 u upgrade another RAM cos of limited slot. Normally come with 2x512MB wo. Just worry u are the same. Do ask another users here. I am not sure for that.

either u open the under casing and check or download cpu-z to check.

ur s73g running dual channel?Means 2x512MB RAM now? If like that, i think his laptop also having the same spec.

anyway im s73G user, already playing some powerful game and i got to say this GC is really powerfull, worth for my RM3700
Here the list the game im already played:

FarCry: All setting to maximum and no lagging at all!
NFS Carbon: just afford setting to medium 1024x800 to get comfortable play.
Doom3: Setting all maximum and no lagging!

actually im no h/core gamer, just testing GC with my brother's collection of pirate game

Huh ..Core duo T2300 also selling at RM4050? so expensive..Just pass a few months right? Now c2d T5500 just selling RM3600. so worth to buy it now.

1gb am is 1x 1gb or 2x512?
coz i want upgred to to 2gb, and i already buy 1 1x 1gb ram

I am not sure the new stock in market now come with 1x1gb or not. B4 that got user get 2x512MB but now mostly ll get the 1x1gb RAM. U better ask the reseller b4 buy. I cant confirm this for u.

Y so early buy the RAM? Didnt scare about compatible or not?

actually that ram is buy formy old laptop, but now that laptop
want give my brother, so take 1x1gb ram out. i think 1gb is enought for him. haha..

difference between r55 and s73 only its graphic card, screen size, design and significantly, the price...R55 is the most expensive joybook in the market right now...but, i think s73 is more value for money becoz of its graphic card...those who need mobility also should go for s73 becoz r55 offers more premium display with its 15.4" size & 16ms response screen and obviously heavier than s73...

i'm still cant install nfsc...i wonder there's problem with my ciplak nfsc DVD.....still with DirectX error....too busy with my works and dont actually have time to buy new one... but i already install FM2007, PES6 and NFSMW black edition...all run smoothly...

so who'll be next to my name in R55 list ??...huhu...

Havent settle that case yet?I heard from a long time ago alr. Try other nfs DVD n see. Just worry is the DVD problem since u can installed others game right? Means ur DVD rom no problem la. I suggest change another DVD 1st.

well dat was last year ma haha. It comes with Win XP home newayz so...okla d price.

Is da directx error about a funny name file not found? Juz google da file name, download it and paste into da game directory.

but just now i manage to borrow another NFSC DVD from my friend...still in installing process...

succesfully installed NFSCarbon...tried with high setting with high resolution...hohoh...a bit lagging...

then adjusted to high setting with medium resolution, it run smoothly ~~
..to play it smoothly, one must with medium setting, either details or resolution....huhu...

one more thing.. GPU temp just after exit the game was at 59 degree celcius in non air cond room....
