QUOTE(honkit @ Feb 9 2007, 11:25 PM)
i wonder if i use credit card and buy from a shop in lowyat, can i pay by installment?

im kinda targeting on s73g with spec

c2d t5500
1GBram
ati radeon x1600
windows vista home premium

for rm41**

or getting dell 6400
Intel(R) Core™2 Duo Processor T5600
Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium 32 bit (English)
15.4" Wide Screen XGA TFT Display: 1280x800
1024MB (2 X 512MB) DDR2 SDRAM
80GB SATA Hard Drive
Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Combination Drive with dual layer write capabilities
256MB ATI Mobility™ Radeon(R) X1400

for rm3814

im not a serious gamer, i play fifa07, nfs carbon and some online games. im kinda concern on the graphic card. is x1400 and x1600 alot of difference?and about the warranty

which 1 should i go for?
*
1)x1400 can play in medium setting in most latest games & x1600 can play in medium or higher resolution with special effect opened. The nfs cars can showing more clear or 3D feel with x1600.

2) have to see ur budget. If below 4k then take the dell inspiron 6400. since there was RM300 different there.

3) Processor demand. if u need higher clock speed then should be dell too. cos T5500 in s73g is the lowest model for c2d. LoL..

You are not a serious gamer but concern about graphics card, hmm... But as tplcaik mentioned on the difference between 1400 and 1600, you should consider them now.

And remember to choose "true life" for your Dell display.

Yup. that's right. Although mine was 4.3k with 2 gig RAM ,it didn't come with Windows. So, at michaelyii1988's price .. it's still ok although I am wondering if you can get Windows Vista at the same price.

About the heat, it is standard in the Benq Joybook series. It has not overheated before and shouldn't now. Of course, the palm area will feel hot after a while but you will get used to it smile.gif

Wow..Its worth for it. Genuine win xp pro selling at RM500 in the market, means that ur laptop just cost RM3600. rclxms.gif

U may upgrade the RAM when u upgrade the win to vista. Just wonder ur RAM now is 1x1gb or 2x512MB!!If 2x512MB have to remove away 1X512MB RAM to install further upgrade ~>.<~
