No, it is both ROUND UP and ROUND DOWN depending on the situation. I.e. cashback of RM0.49 will be ROUNDED DOWN to RM0. Cashback of RM0.51 will be ROUNDED UP to RM1.
Credit Cards Hong Leong Bank Wise Credit Card V8, 10% Cashback , Up to RM100 per month

QUOTE(thirumaran @ Aug 6 2022, 04:48 PM) Got limit? Seriously, 4,000 units FULLY REDEEMED by noon? Does not make sense. First of all, HLB cardholders are not that many. Secondly, Haagen Daaz outlets are also not that many. Thirdly, it was just A SINGLE SCOOP of ice cream. Something doesn't sound right here. I know last weekend Haagen Daaz fully redeemed by noon. Edit: Limit RM25000 during campaign Their normal PSL 50% RM25 cashback...I got my Guardian cashback even at 1.30pm a couple months ago. And that was limited to just 1,600 customers. Either it's gotten WAY more competitive since then, or Haagen Daaz wasn't playing fair there. This post has been edited by contestchris: Aug 7 2022, 01:49 AM |

QUOTE(zinze36 @ Aug 9 2022, 06:53 PM) i think maybe Haagen Daaz rarely have 50% discount. 4 cards held by 1 cardholder.Guardian items if buy online at diffrent site can get 50% easier if compared to Haagen Daaz. XD my english is weak, for this sentence This promotion is only limited to one (1) redemption per cardholder. if i have one hlb debit card and three hlb credit card, i can make 1 or 4 purchases? I'm still not sold 4,000 people with HLB credit/debit card took the effort to redeem ONE SCOOP within 3 to 4 hours. Simply unfeasible. BTW the Guardian and Watson and other 50% promo, be smart to stack with products that are already discounted. Can be getting an item at under 25% of its original price this way (when combined with the 8% weekend groceries cashback). Any news about Watsons PSL cashback? I've still not gotten it, so must assume I was simply not fast enough.

I have a query regarding FPP. Assuming the following scenario:
Statement date: 28th July Statement balance: RM1,500 (including RM300 for EPP) Spending since statement date: RM1,000 Total outstanding balance: RM2,500 Apply for FPP: RM2,200 (excluding RM300 for EPP) FPP of RM2,200 posted to account on 8th August 2022 Statement due date: 17th August 2022 Which of the following is true? 1) I have to pay RM1,500 by 17th August 2022 2) I have to pay RM300 by 17th August 2022 (as EPP of RM300 not computed for FPP) 3) I don't have to pay anything as FPP credit of RM2,200 covers statement balance of RM1,500 I've never done FPP before, so appreciate yalls clarification on this. Thanks! |

QUOTE(markchan @ Aug 16 2022, 09:28 AM) please check with the bank I called CS, they said nothing to worry about even though on that day, I did not make any other transaction. They say this is a normal charge that is appearing recently for online transaction and may appear a few days later too. So yeah, they said not to cancel the card for now, but if there was any posted fraudulent transaction, they will then assist to cancel and issue the new card.most likely they saved your card USD0.00 for verification and will proceed to make purchases after that. |

Managed to get RM5 cashback for final day of Ola Bola (31 July).
I managed to get 15 points or so that day from 1 try, learned too late how to properly play it. Before that try, all my points per try either 0 or 1. After a couple times, give up. Just try final day for fun. |

QUOTE(Sone Shin @ Sep 30 2022, 11:02 PM) Any guidance to maximize the reward for category B, aka bill payment? Great Eastern online manual payment (ePay) is classified as MCC 6300 according to my check with RHB CS in the past. So should qualify. I got great eastern, is it e-pay consider online transaction, must use auto billing? And does this overlap with Wise original CR? (Like Wise CR rm15 + campaign CR rm100, total entitled CR rm115 or rm100..) This campaign CB is completely separate from Wise card normal benefit benefit cashback. Sone Shin liked this post

HLB 12 months 0% has been very generous. It shows the end date is Oct 31, 2022. Is this a periodic thing that comes from time to time?

Guys, can I confirm the following:
1) Online road tax renewal payment through MYEG qualifies for ONLINE category cashback (despite this is government transaction and excluded from cashback for the card) 2) Grabfood delivery (directly pay using credit card) is applicable for ONLINE category cashback Thanks! |

QUOTE(johnc3 @ Nov 13 2022, 05:28 PM) hi, first time apply this FPP, 0% for 3 months today. 1. If you apply for FPP between statement date and statement due date, when the approved amount is posted to the statement, it is considered as "payment". So in your case, since the approved amount (RM586.00) is larger than the statement balance (RM517.64), you DO NOT need to pay on the due date, it will roll into the following month.statement due date :16/11 outstanding amount :rm586.19 statement bal :rm517.64 received email my application approve with monthly installmemt rm195.33 my question 1. by 16/11 i need to pay rm195.33? 2. read the tnc it say not entitled to any cash rebates, but for this tm517.64 spend, i already received the cash rebates, mean they will take back this cash rebates? 2. No, they will not take back the cash rebate. What they instead mean is that on the subsequent FPP amount (in your case, you applied RM586.00 FPP), there will be no additional cashbacks. |
