Damn the revised benefits are shit.

Previously you could get an effective cashback of 8% for RM500 spend, which is the HIGHEST in Malaysia.

Now, with the higher spend threshold, in the best case scenario, the highest effective cashback for RM1k spend is only 5.5%, and you must max out your Dining/Petrol/Groceries to hit this. Previously, between the 4 categories, you can manage and don't need to max every category out.

I'm thinking of ditching the HLB Wise and replacing it with:

1. Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Amex Platinum - 8% online cashback (everyday)
2. Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Petronas Visa Platinum - 8% petrol cashback (weekend)

Can use Spaylater for groceries. Won't miss dining cause I rarely maxed it on HLB Wise.

Hi guys, no one tried to enroll in auto-billing for the recent campaign?

The campaign ended on 30 Sep 2024. I applied for 3 new auto-billings to my card but nothing thus far. The fulfilment is by 30 Dec 2024.

For installment plans at the merchant end, e.g. when buy device at Samsung online store - when is the cashback and spend calculated?

E.g. spend RM1,200 for 12months 0%.

Is it counted as RM1,200 spend in the month of the transaction, or 1/12th every month thereafter when the installment is posted?

I have a question. If I merely have a HLB credit card, but NO CASA, can I just HLB eConnect QR payment function? Cause I tried the other day and it failed - said I needed a HLB CASA.

I just saw that no dining cashback for Nov 2025. Anyone else face the same issue? The rest - Petrol, Groceries, Online and Others - no issue. I have double-checked my statement, memang the eligible weekend transactions are tagged as DINING.
