where exactly did you pay/use the HLB Wise card?

1) petrol kiosk/terminal?

2) service station?

most banks already disclaimed their responsibility of mcc assignment by other banks.

hlb not stringent. it's stated in the t&c of which mcc is eligible.

if want to put a blame, then blame the shell station's kiosk terminal vendor/acquirer bank for assigning the wrong mcc. they will eventually get audited by card scheme and acquirer bank when they observed abnormal high transactions going through mcc 5541 (service station) by that outlet.

seems like revised features suitable for me now

but...... af still high and likely non-waivable

i wasnt targeting online, and i'm aware of this cat earlier.

the new overall proposition seems good for my spending need (without online)

even the prior wise feature is worth the trouble (maxing out cb with rounding trick), also that time without online category.

hlb EXPLICITLY stated no af waiver
