then it is not called waive. You terminated the card meant you dont want to continue use the card for the new year, hence this Annual Fees of the new year do not need to pay by you.

waive is hlb do not charge you annual fees and you can still use the card for another year.

i just called bank, they said cannot waive AF even i terminate the card

AF charged, called to waived, said cannot, then clear all to cancel, then thought AF will automatically reverse out,

mana tahu next day another HLB cs called, said AF wont reverse out unless i take their another card. I said ok.

Then next day i immediately make report to BNM, HLB received instruction from BNM, got scared coz forcing me to continue their product using "dirty" tactic

padan muka.

and also the HLB remain unposted cash back eventhough my wise card is cancel. 2 months CB there

HLB thought they can swallow without my knowledge.

i wrote a long winded email to them giving them chance to make good before i report to BNM again, walah, they resolve and transfer back those CB to my acc immediately

they messing with the WRONG person!

if one cannot achieve rm2k/month just terminate it
if one spending is around rm2k/month just keep it
i dun understand why people wanna quarrel

not everyone likes to carry many cards.
not everyone likes to manage different spending on different cards.
not everyone eligible to apply each card.

everyone is diffferent and has different reasons and spending pattern.

this forum has literally all cards discussed. let them choose and decide.

Any sifus can advise...my monthly spending vary between 5k - >10k

Usually my PB VS (2 cards, including supp), HLB Wise, UOB Vox (Now I have got UOB YOLO)...all these cards are fully maximized in terms of CB...usually for air tickets, hotels, groceries (Now HLB Wise new terms makes me life much easier)

I have CIMB CR card...only for certain online spend

I have CITI Cash Back Rebate...mainly for petrol

The rest I use HLB Essential

Any other cards good for cash back?

Received September Statement, Rebate Missing
Called Customer Service, qualify for September rebate and rebate will credit few days later and never receive
Called Customer second time, was told September rebate will credit together with October rebate
Received October statement, only received one month rebate

I already emailed to HLB, what else can i do if they don't honor their previous T&C

HLBANK is the worst bank i ever experience.

CS sleeping i think. i called almost 10X from mobile and house phone, no one seem to pick up my phone. worst CS ever....

whole CS is useless...

best is to cancel it if you no longer able to meet their new criteria.

Finally called in to cancel my 3-year-old WISE card... reason given : Annual Fee.
I should be getting a callback in 3-5 days.

Today I logged in and the WISE card no longer appears under HLB Connect Portal.
No calls received thus far.

Same here, good riddance  . I sent a message at HL connect 2 days ago requesting card cancellation, check today and the card is gone under online banking

i only use wise once every 2 months so paid everything in a single month to make it reach RM2000, so only odd months i m getting cb. but will cancel it later since the effective cb is only 3.59% (after deducting AF169.60) based on the method i use.
