Is that means that as long as I swipe rm2k per mth regardless of which category,  then I'm entire for rm100 cash rebate?
To be honest, it's not worth for it as we still need to pay annual fees. Some more the annual feed is expensive.
Unless it's life time free annual fees. Then it can be consider.
I'm going to terminate my card before it expired.

Yes, let's support mass cancellation

The effectively CB can be lower than 5%, is depend on how much you spend on your selected category with total spending of 2000 and above
*
You may get zero cash back if for some reason some transaction not posted in that particular month and result in total amount fall short of Rm2000.

Might as well use MBB VS and PBB VS to pay most of the categories covered by Wise, no minimum spending amount required

MBB VS is 5% daily, cap at RM88, but only 1st year free AF, subsequent year need to spend RM50K/yr only free waiver, else AF RM550.
*
If u r lucky, u may get waiver of annual fee for MBB VS, as reported by others earlier

Economy is really bad nowadays, Even banks tightening their belt.

I just got my WISE card in June, Only used few months and they changed T&C.

Even Maybank 2 Cards also reduced their benefits.

Times are tough
*
Once they changed the TnC, look for alternative/ replacement card, there are always other options available. Don't keep the card, else they will never competitive

Spend rm30 next month, cash back credited then only cancel the card. That's if you have their banking account. Else spend rm100.
*
If u spend after annual fee is charged, then they will not waive even you cancel the card later

Support mass cancellation. Hunting for new card for replacement.
*
The voice will be heard if the number is significant. Just like the case of CIMB imposing utilisation charge on flexible loan last year, they have to withdraw their plan after significant number of affected parties called for mass protest against CIMB

Low spender swipe 3k monthly? If you can meet their 2k minimum, there's no reason to change except you're too cheap skate to even pay the AF. 1 card or 2 cards for RM100 monthly? I  prefer 1 card.
*
It is not that others are cheapskate.

When other banks can give better cash rebate without annual fee and with more flexible spending eg PBB VS, why pay annual fee for not so flexible card?

Just called...

CS said I can request for waiver provided I continue using the card (monthly spend 2k 🤔) but CS need to confirm whether for 2016 or 2017. (Initially said 2016 will be charged as usual but 2017 waived 🤔). I will update once getting final confirmation.
*
If they are sincere to retain, should waive 2016,why waive only 2017?

i spoke the ppl's voice, how many of msian can spend 2k every month with credit card ?
please understand the others, not every1 rich like u
*
Not only that, there are other credit cards from other banks offering promotions everyol now and then that we want to capitalize instead of just spending on wise to get 5% cash back, eg PBB VS regular promos

it is not wrong for anyone to express their opinion or views or dissatisfaction over the wise revised terms n condition. so, if u do not like it, u can can move on n ignore the threads. I believe u understand fully about the new terms n don't have to check how to maximize the benefits as u won't really see much ways to tell u how to maximize here but just expressions of how hate they are towards the new revised terms. u can check back later once everyone settled down n adapt to the new wise cards

Told her that some of my friends manage to do it but she said since this is a rebate card the AF can't be waived. sad.gif

Not true, read earlier posts. Also the CS has not been consistent

Feedback from CS.
See if this make sense to you guys. Is there such T&Cs?

I have exactly total 10x eligible transactions, all spent under my 3 chosen Categories (Dining is of them) posted in Aug.
Coincidentally, I have one transaction REVERSAL which is a Dining transaction.
This Dining transaction was initially posted in May, but reversal was only credited back to me and posted in Aug.

CS told me (after he get advice from his senior), because the reversal is under Dining, 1x Dining transaction was deducted from Aug calculation, therefore, I only have 9x eligible transactions for Aug.
Hence. ZERO CB!!  shocking.gif  shocking.gif
I think this is not reasonable, as the Reversal transaction was not related at all to my Aug spending.
It was a May transaction, so if they want to deduct, then they can always re-calculate my May transactions.

It's WISE trick to reject your cash back entitlement. Suggest you get them to show you the terms and conditions that allow them to do so, else escalate the case to BNM to get the cash back

For those who use WISE card for more than 1 year and managed to obtain waiver of annual fee by calling CS, do you see the following in your statement and HL Connect?

Annual Fee 6.00% GST  9.60
ANNUAL FEE WAIVER 6.00% GST  9.60 CR
Annual Fee  160.00
ANNUAL FEE WAIVER  160.00 CR

Or, the words "annual fee waiver" will not be shown in your statement and HL Connect?
*
Congrats, you are one of the lucky one to get full waiver without cancelling the card
