Has there been a change in annual fee policy recently in HLB AA card ?
It is stated on Big Loyalty site that annual fee is free for life!
https://www.airasiacards.com/my/en/promotion
May be they will waive my annual fee come December, if so then I don't need to prepay my FPPs. Haha

Yes, my annual fee posted on 5 Nov 2020 and there is annual fee waiver credited automatically.

Wow this is great news!
I have planned to prepay my 6k FPPs and cancel card in December. Now I can continue to keep and use it!

For those holding the HLB AA card, there is a new annual fee term on HLB's website that says annual fee will be waived from 2nd year onwards if retail spend exceeds 10K (Gold), 20K (Platinum).

See this:
https://www.hlb.com.my/en/personal-banking/...redit-card.html

CSA has no idea about the free for life statement in Big Loyalty's website.

She says if the spending criteria is achieved by the anniversary date and the fee is posted to the statement, we can put up a request for waiver.

Those with experience with Air Asia Credit Card, I need to ask about how to register for the BIG ID with HLB, because I received email from airasiacards.com which reads as follows:

Hello XXX,

Congrats! You are now a proud member of the AirAsia Cards family.
"Now that you’re a proud cardholder, we’d like to welcome you as the newest BIG Member to our BIG family – the world’s first Freedom Flyer Programme.
To make things a little easier, we’ve linked your NEW card to your BIG Member ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
Once your card is activated, you will be able to experience the convenience and freedom to go further with us!

From the above, it seems that I got a new BIG member ID from them?! We already had an existing one leh...
*
It would be linked to the same AA Big account that you have.

My Wise card AF & SST will be due this July and knowing that AF cant be waived I am thinking of apply for Essential card mainly for reloading of ewallet  and also 0% FPP.
Previously I was able to apply via HL connect, but this time I got the error "Sorry, we are unable to proceed with this online application. (2829)", any idea why is this so?
*
Essential doesn't have the 0% FPP 12 months does it?
It's the AirAsia card that has this feature. AF can be waived for annual spending >10k for gold card and >20k for Platinum.

I have a question about HLB HR weekend spending promotion.
The terms say " Each Eligible Cardholder is eligible to receive a maximum amount of Rebate of RM15 per
weekend regardless of the number of Qualifying Spend performed and amount of spending
transacted"
Cardholder means an individual? I have 2 cards so I'm a cardholder or 2 cardholders?

The Qualifying Spend made by supplementary credit cardholder(s) under the same principal
Eligible Cardholders’ account and/or Qualifying Spend made by the same Eligible Cardholders
using different Cards will also be included in the computation of the Eligible Cardholders’ total
Qualifying Spend.

Hi, i just made purchased just now and received SMS notification on the purchase success.

Referring to: Buy Now Pay Later Campaign

Here's the situation:
Statement date of mine is at 24th of the month
Purchase made : 22nd April 2021

So my question is, this campaign need to take 2~3 days to appear under "Apply" that section for Flexi Pay Program 0% - 6/12 months
Am I still eligible to apply this promotion after my transaction made on 22nd April 2021 and conclude on 24th April 2021 (statement date) ?

I don't understand this clause 5 actually :
*
I do FPP with HLB quite often. My advise is as soon as the charge appears in your HLConnect, apply straight away for the FPP.
I know it says the transaction "must not have passed its payment due date and..." I have found the FPP eligible amount gone if it's past the statement date, although the payment is only due 20 days later.
So do it on the day it appears in Connect.

If do FPP,  does the spending still count towards the monthly spending?
*
The answer is yes, it will be counted as the month's spending even though you are paying it off by instalment.

Now just need to wait it appear under FPP and convert  tongue.gif

That's a bit late. Anyway yes wait for it to be posted.
You can do FPP for that specific transaction or wait for more transactions so they add to a larger FPP amount

I applied for the FPP earlier this month for 2 cards, and that went very smoothly.

Since then I have spent even more on the cards, but no longer have the FPP option (only relief conversion).

Has anyone managed to apply for several FPP back to back?
*
Maybe you have reached the FPP limit?
Quite sometime ago I was in the same situation and the CS said I have reached the limit set.
I didn't ask then how they calculated the limit .
Most likely it's a certain percentage of the available limit.

Noted. Then it should be due to transactions below RM500 not posted yet for lilsunflower.

Thanks for providing suggestions and sharing your own experiences.

My 2 FPPs were on 19 April for RM24k and RM8k (2 separate cards).

Now, my "Combined Available Limit" / "BT Eligible Limit" and "QC Eligible Limit" are still all above RM50k, which means I've got loads of limit left.

My current "FPP Eligible Amount" is RM11k and RM4k (for the above 2 cards which had first round FPP), but when I click on "Apply Now", I only have the Relief Conversion Option.

In the past I used to do MAXIMUM back to back multiple FPPs (i.e. utilised almost all my CL)....

Now it seems like I don't have that option anymore.

Maybe I'll wait until after my statement date (3 May) and see if that helps.
*
You must be a high FPP user. Do you track your total FPPs owing? Somehow I feel that the zero% FPP may be capped at a certain amount.
Some banks like CIMB and Alliance have used the term of "EPP/FPP/instalment payment limit" in the terms and conditions but never actually state the % or amount. You may want to ask HLB CS. I'll be interested to know so I can monitor my utilisation as well.
