-radio signal is nt strong enough , results in the sound quality comes out from the speaker is not clear compared to CD/AUX playing. dunno is antenna or the CD player itself problem

From Iriz thread, Iriz has both auto up and down. So I thought it will be the same for Persona. It's understandable other variant doesn't come with auto up, but even premium...

Distance Travel : 401KM (40% city 60% highway)

Fuel Consumption : 401/27.7 = 14.5KM/l

Probably traffic jam due to Deepavali. Looking forward for next week. Trying my best to get 16Km/l

Update of my car dashboard rattling problem. Found and solved with accessories shop in the sunday afternoon. Its a small gap near passenger A pillar and windscreen, everytime go through bumpy road the dashboard will hit the windscreen and create rattling noise. Solution is sumbat in a sponge to hold the gap, a bit ugly but acceptable better than the annoying 'tuk tuk' sound. Found a good accessories shop with a very nice guy worker. Hard time to find the rattling area, bring the acc guy sit beside me to round and purposely go through bumpy road. What he did was removed the glovebox and use his handphone to take picture inside the dashboard with flash. Slowly minimize the problem area by using fingers to press the possible area, if press hold the right place and the rattling stop then that was the problem cause area. Mr nice chatty guy talking about all sorts of car problem all the way and charged me rm10 only for the sponge tape and the problem solved.  Sigh proton..famous iriz problem still no improvement, there are sponge originally at the gap but not thick enough to insulate.

The sudden power drop when you change the gear from 1~2 & 2~3 while accelerating.

Hi guys, I'm having the saga 2016 manual and is very convinced that I'm having the lack of power delivery for gear 1 and 2.

I don't know why but when the engine is cold and idle rpm is at 1.1k power delivery in gear 1 and 2 is so snappy and responsive.

But when the engine is at operating temperatures.. With idle of around 900 rpm... It is sluggish as hell. It's a constant struggle trying to move from standstill and getting into speed from gear 1 to gear 2. When pushed the accelerator hard in gear 1 (rpm to 3.5k), then shifting to gear 2, the engine breaking jerk is so strong due to the delay in power delivery.

Also sometimes in gear 1 or 2. There is a sudden jerk when revving up. Trying to launch hard from standstill is near impossible as it is nearly impossible to obtain smooth gear changes by trying to rev match. So many things to concentrate on when accelerating with frequent constant eyes on rpm meter (since nvh is so good, I like this)

Seriously this is pissing me off as I assumed that manual will be the way to go as I've enjoyed my old iswara manual. Now it feels like a struggle. Reeaaaaaally slow pickup from standstill it embarrasses me

Feel like investing in a accelerator booster in the near future (it's damn costly)

In addition to this (not minding much) fuel consumption is at around 9-10km/litre. 100% city Drive with around 12 traffic lights? It's pretty low (ok I do mind)

But When let SC technical test drive he says its ok. Don't know what to do d... But I'm dead serious that the car feels good on cold engine running. So snappy. Most enjoyable 5mins before the engine gets hot.

I don't know which radio you use, but mine single din have that option, Menu >Tuner>RDS on/off

It's steady at 10km/l. Not yet try highway travel. 300km away from finish break in period

Isn't that like very high fuel consumption. Saga don't show average fuel consumption so its quite hard to get "solid"  readings. But on average on 1 bar of petrol is 60km. Thus 60 x 6 = 360km city drive

Not bad eh if see it this way.

*also hope ya'll don't mind me bring in saga stuff as I assume engine and transmission is similar? Only capacity different. Can't seem to find new saga official thread here

Stock tyre are noisy as hell but I take it yours is premium seeing the sport rim in silver and it should be Goodyear right? I might change mine when it's due. Right now gonna have to embrace the road noise, use it until it's gone.

Almost involve in accident today, took a corner at 110km/h at kota damansara plus exit. Usually can took the corner pretty easily without any problem but today didn't notice it was raining, road condition were wet. Almost hit the divider, thanks god for the ESC. If not my persona would be hitting the workshop right now. Had it all recorded, but my upload speed are shitty 50KBps
