Mahihi prices quoted to me is now no longer the cheapest so I would not recommend them anymore. I'm deleting the FB link. it was frustrating to deal with them as 1 day say this & next day another. beating round the bush. bangwall.gif I have a copy of my conversation with them if anyone wants to see how they mislead me in my personal opinion  vmad.gif If he has done no wrong why has he banned me from even chatting with him? He claimed I'm playing with words. I wonder who actually was playing with words?

actually i find bezza's sound ok la, except for behind the car, when road is wet, then got water sound. other than that, ok kua. next week i will do a long distance ride, so maybe can tell more what is annoying or not. thanks for sharing this info, useful for people.

Guys anyone know how long it takes to change oil during service? Donno today when I took my car for service just took them about 20 minutes to change the engin oil & gaskets? Got charge rm250 for it. Does it really take that fast to service car? I was expecting 1 hour minimum. How to know if they really changed the oil?

depending how fast the person does it. if jack up, drain from bottom, how long do u take to pour out 4 litres of oil? less than 10min. if vacuum from top, about the same. gasket usually dont even need to change, it is just a rubber piece for the drain nut. RM250 is expensive, perodua really charge that much? mileage and type of engine oil?

u can even change oil at home, 30min cos no proper place to drain and all haha.

1: check that you have nothing loose in your compartment that could be making that sound (Smart tag, cards, coins etc). If still have sound maybe it's like mine, the sound appears when turning on or off lights etc, I suspect it's normal.

2: if it's not a specific noise but just general noisy from the back of car, that sounds like road noise, which is normal because bezza doesn't have good noise insulation

3: this actually happens to me.. but I found out why.. (for me at least) it only becomes hard to change from P to R when your P brakes engage (meaning, after put into P the car still moves slightly). So what I do is prevent my P brakes from engaging... when parking : keep foot on brake, push gear into P (don't take foot off brakes), pull handbrake till really maximum. This way, the handbrake stops the car moving hence no need for P brake to engage, hence not hard to change gear later.

Hope this helps!

Erm, as far as I know, just the fully synthetic oil will cost around 200+ already right? So isn't that price normal? Or am I wrong?

yeah, soundproofing for this car not so good. the arch wheels kinda metal nia, not like old cars with rubber sheets. go look at vios and city, same design, only thing they use thick insulation between inside and outside.

my exactly like your model got that sound as well.

solution:
1. soundproofing - not the cheapest option
2. louder exhaust - cheapest option
3. louder music - okla, RM200 can get lousy "stainless steel" rust within 3 months

QUOTE(Kc66 @ Feb 1 2017, 12:47 AM)
Do you guys know any shop which is doing sound proofing? Wanted to sound proof the whole car....
*
those interested to do soundproofing can wait, will upload pics on saturday

seeing one owner from penang for soundproofing job

soundproofing is very subjective

its not about how cheap u can get , nor how expensive it is

cause cheap doesn;t mean it is good, and expensive on the other hand doesnt mean it is worth every dollar spent..

soundproofing is using the right material at the right place to get you the best effect with the money spent

for eg the roof, there are options from rm 3xx , but when we quote we quote u 4xx

cause for us , we don't quote u the cheapest, but rather we quote u what we think u shud get at least to feel the difference, not just sticking for the sake of sticking

so for those wanting to know more, best to drop by each shop to check out what u r getting for the money paid, instead of just asking pm best price..
u dont wnayt the cheapest without any diff isnt it, drop by understand to get the best out of ur money smile.gif

1. The sound from the driver side confirm not because of smart tag, still can't find out where
2. The sound from the back is like vibration sound, not road noise or water splashing. This is damn frustrating, new car but so many sound
3. From P to R suppose to be smooth, yet it is so damn hard to change, something wrong with it

My Bezza so far so good, just the road noise in highway is higher than normal car. After i installed the rubber sealed then it is much better now.

Drove to Ipoh today, speed was around 100-120 which I consider decent for highway driving. However, past 100 the sound really starts to get disturbing. I find it very uncomfortable; even my older Myvi has better soundproofing. Will consider enhancing the soundproofing on this car if it's below RM 1k. Will wait and see if anyone here does it. Please share your experience if you do.

This was my Bezza first service, i too found it expensive. But we have to go to Perodua for 5 years right if not void warranty?

This was what they charge me:
Gas Nitrogen for the tyre 15.90
Compressor Oil 41.87
Element S/A oil filter 11.98
PGO SN OW 20 4L 159.00
Gasket 4.03
Injector Cleaner 24.38
Total 257.15

The service labour was free was this one if not it would be even more expensive. Now i am very scare for the next upcoming service bcs according to the chart they gave us there is 7 dots tick at things that need to change.. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

u kena cut in:
N2 gas - u dont need them, our air oso 70% N2 liao (trust me, i sell air for a living for the biggest industrial gas company in the world)
Compressor Oil - why from factory low level? or your air con feeling hot?
Injector Cleaner - 10k impossible dirty, maybe at 40-50k yala, but that oso no need

rest is ok, gasket cheap2 replace la, but that as well dont need, basic service is always engine oil + filter that's all. yes u need to go perodua to service to avoid void in warranty, but the one u went i suspect is those 3rd party "authorised" perodua SC. Which SC u went?

I don't know much about cars, i trusted the service center guy that what he is doing is for the good of the car... vmad.gif
How can i tell if a service center is authorised sc and not a 3rd party one??? I went to the sc nearest to my home in Penang. So he overcharge me by nearly rm100?

u didnt get overcharged, u paid for service and item that u dont really need, but RM100 is a cheap way to learn about cars.

I am a salesman and I practice 3C:
1. 1st you convince the customer. to gain their trust
2. then you confuse them
3. then u con them biggrin.gif

leak rate would be less, but then it will be there, 6 months u dowan pump tyre cos scared hand dirty meh? check once a month, at least make u bend down a bit.

Penang Here can check, gmail, yahoo all those not service centre, perodua.com.my is. I heard DMM Sales Sdn. Bhd. is good as well, do share your bad experience, at least ppl can be careful in the future.
