you want portability or?

850IS is somewhat like an upgrade ur old cam....
actually same with 70 n 75

but 850 is having the IS
if you use a camera mostly when u travel for vacation, Ixus 70/75 is great
if you use a camera mostly when u r invited to parties or events, 850IS is great

GP. That's what everyone recommends. Hahax. But I'm using Kodak batteries. Doing well. I snap 600+ photos (including 10+ photos with flash) and the battery still hasn't flat yet. tongue.gif

A460, RM450, get a 2GB SD at RM100, spend the last RM50 on printing, approx 100 4R prints. smile.gif

Spending money is so damn easy. LOL

Waterproof? How many cameras out there are waterproof? If you are interested in under water photo, get a casing.

Not being waterproof is not a 'weakness', it's a built feature. Should the IXUS 70 retain all its features PLUS waterproof I think the price may go way higher than the Olympus as well as the latest Casio one jor laugh.gif

Hi, guys i have a 400D and i wanna ask advice for a lens. I like to do close up photograph(Photography jewelry and Nature). I was looking at the EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM but the Closest Focusing Distance (ft) is 1.59ft compared to the EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM with the Closest Focusing Distance (ft) 4.9ft so if i zoom all the way im guessing i would magnify the image more than the macro lens plus i like the IS in the lens. Underwater photography is nice to have IS.

Added Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG MACRO-Minimum Focusing Distance: 150cm / (95cm Macro mode)59.1 in. / (37.4 in. Macro mode) also thinking bout this but wanna ask sifu's for advice.

icon_question.gif  Can i ask a question??? ISO use for what??? higher ISO is better right???
*
ISO number is the digital camera sensors sensitivity to light. The higher the sensitivity, the less light is needed to make an exposure.. Higher ISO worst image quality because High ISO gives u high image distortion or noise.
