QUOTE(ac98 @ Feb 11 2007, 05:17 PM) Hello! Where have you been lah? quite busy lar A 50mm lens is most ideal for potraiture, low light indoor photography where focal length is a lil' bit of a problem but dun have a budget for more expensive lenses. I call that lens a 'beginner's DOF practice lens'. Go get one and play with it for awhile by all means, it's fun noob question what is DOF beginner practice lens?? do u know how much would this lense cost?? thanx in advance Added on February 12, 2007, 9:45 am QUOTE(kenlui @ Feb 10 2007, 04:42 PM) @lek_3eo thx bro, do u know how much is the 50mm f1.8?? is it a big difference between f1.8 and f1.4??Perhaps u can consider getting the 50mm f1.8, it's a fast prime lens and cheap... If you have the moolah, then by all means go for the f1.4... Wide angle? perhaps 35mm? and 35mm how much would it cost This post has been edited by lek_e30: Feb 12 2007, 09:45 AM |

QUOTE(lgs @ Feb 12 2007, 09:46 AM) robix86 thx bro for your info fotokem not bad lah , my A520 from them ,but price u need to nego/bargain bit. porkchop fotodata got in SS2 ? I saw fotozoom and YS photo only , last time got foto shangrila but I think closed down ady. lek_e30 50mm f1.8 is fast if lighting is ok ,when lighting is dark ,with USM focusing is nicer I would say, the only reason I buy Canon 50mm F1.8 ,because its RM290 only EF 28mm f1.8 USM = RM1800 EF 28mm f2.8 = RM800 EF 35mm f2 = RM990 EF 50mm f1.4 USM = RM1350 EF 50mm f1.8 = RM290 EF 85mm f1.8 USM = RM1350 or u prefer L lens EF 35mm f1.4L USM = RM4600 EF 50mm f1.2L USM = RM4990 EF 85mm F1.2L II USM = RM7500 above price is a rough based price only . QUOTE(aichiban @ Feb 25 2007, 04:48 AM) then when i say i want protection, u tell me dun buy lar, waste money lar QUOTE(lgs @ Feb 25 2007, 04:22 PM) CPL will decrease the light hitting the sensor if I not mistaken ,so its not a good idea if u mount in on at low light condition ,if u unmount it during low light condition meants when in low light ur lens is not protected. thanks bro, btw bith my lense is 58mm I believe UV filter still a all rounded protection for lens ,CPL is good if I wanna shoot scenary . But off coz bc I am rough type of ppl , to avoid unhappyness I buy UV filter to protect ,if ur r very careful type ppl then filter is not needed lek_e30 Filter price is depend on ur lens filter size as well , Hoya UV Filter 67mm is around RM45 . |

QUOTE(nairud @ Mar 2 2007, 09:45 AM) Even normal ppl use that Hippo something to absorb moisture off from their wardrobe. Do you think you'll need it for your camera? then i dun need it QUOTE(nairud @ Mar 2 2007, 10:06 AM) just my opinion, EOS is my first DSLR and never use other DSLR b4, so for me the result using my EOS is very satisfying.. |

QUOTE(aichiban @ Mar 5 2007, 06:12 PM) hao pro spotted!! jin heh li hoiQUOTE(g88 @ Mar 5 2007, 07:36 PM) Latest price as for today 5 March 2007 for both 350D and 400D from Ampang Park u r rite!! if u can ignore the antidust, bigger MP's etc then u wont regret cause the main course is still the lense 400D kitset - RM3100 350D kitset - RM2300 Another 2 shops quoted 400D kitset Rm3300 but 350D still RM3100 One of the shop fella said 350D might phase outsoon that's why so cheap. Now i really think 350D since price is RM800 different...i am keep thinking that 2 extra MP, Antidust, 0.7" bigger LCD worth Rm800 or not...later if 450D come out 400D will end up like 350D one day...like that i better save the $$ for upgrade lens in future, right my friend?? |
