QUOTE(guciguci @ Jun 21 2018, 08:24 PM) Thanks for reply, the sales manager told me it will have new FL on October. I just place order last week and he told me no car now, i told him i'm waiting for the Alza with ESC/VSC as government force them to install it, wait ans see how. there will be no ESC/VSC with drive by cable throttle, it requires drive by wire to enable VSC. So current alza will not have ESC. |

QUOTE(naturalfool @ Jun 22 2018, 12:12 PM) if alza only 1.5cc, not only underpower, it is even no power, honda c70 kapchai also 70cc already. hahaha....being an mpv, it is never meant to be a powerful car to have, i would say, the power is good enough for task given to it. |

QUOTE(zzzxtreme @ Jun 27 2018, 10:55 PM) can alza key work if I just lock/unlock normally without pressing the alarm switch ? all keys are design to lock and unlock when the alarm switch fails. i think there's no concernit did work with my old first gen myvi. I wonder if the immobilizer will trigger or something? |

QUOTE(darkdevilrey @ Jun 28 2018, 10:54 AM) but first you must disarm the alarm to use key manually. on first gen myvi, even the alarm is triggered, you can insert the key and turn to "ON", the alarm will be disarm automatically, i kena once due to remote battery fail on my house myvi, the power of immobilizer chip communicating with ECU. Hehehe.... if last lock with alarm, unlock with key, will trigger the alarm. i believe it should be the same working principle on alza and other perodua models as well, i guess. Not sure about the press start models though. |

anything that involve cutting wire will void warranty, if it is plug and pla, is ok. just unplug it when you send back to sc for warranty claims.

QUOTE(Alert_RaZO @ Aug 10 2018, 01:47 PM) coz perodua sc doesn't have 5w30 full synthetic, they ma tell you alza cannot use fully lo. their 5w30 is semi, but it can last 10k mileage. i'm not sure whether alza is suitable for 0w20 though. can have a try on 0w20 for once if you daring enough. new perodua dual vvti engines recommended to use 0w20, though 5w30 is usable as well. |

QUOTE(androidx8 @ Aug 29 2018, 12:36 AM) usually alza won't be that long waiting, and there will be a cosmetic update for alza in the pipeline, not sure whether they will update the engine or not. since 3SZ-VE engine is dated and only alza is using it. |

QUOTE(effectz @ Sep 4 2018, 11:50 PM) i thought they gonna put in 2NR-VE into alza with eco idle, what a dissapointment when i get to know it's still 3SZ-VE. i have a feeling that they will place alza as interim model only. short term. so they don't wanna waste too much resources on it either. |

QUOTE(kent_lee @ Sep 23 2018, 11:34 PM) Heya guys it could be due to pressure build up. i presuem when you closing your driver door the other doors are close and windows are shut. let's try open up the window a little bit, leaving a small gap and try to close your driver door again.New owner of 1 month old Alza here. Just had the first month service done. Was wondering if it is still required for the service booklet to be stamped and recorded whilst under warranty as mine wasn't stamped by the SC. I forgot about it until a couple of days later. Another issue i recently discovered is the front passenger door requires slightly more force to close tightly as compared to all the other doors which only needs a light push. Because it was on the passenger side i didn't notice it till recently. Should i bring it back right away or is waiting till the 3 month service to do it all together fine? |

QUOTE(babylck @ Oct 22 2018, 10:09 AM) hi, anyone change the engine cover gasket before? Noticed there is engine oil mark leaking from the engine cover side. Tried to ask outside two shops charging rm300 for the parts and labor to change. Is this price consider ok? you are talking about valve cover, right? |

QUOTE(exdtan @ Nov 27 2018, 09:25 AM) The uncle quote me RM1580 for changing Air-con pulley + coil + compressor (All Denso product) + vacuum + cabin filter. why compressor and aircond pulley is seperate? They not come together? Coil? Condenser or evaporator? Or both? if compressor + condenser + evaporator then it is a good pricing as they use denso products.Any comment ? |
