The kit is below RM2k... how about Rx, Tx? Having a good rx, tx is a better investment, as you can do more things... and future upgrade will be more expensive....

rm2k will get u the super combo kit and a basic 6 channel radio
a better radio is prefered ...
then another rm300-500 for batteries and charger
standby at least rm500 worth of parts if u have never flown a CP heli b4
then fly the SIM .. fly the SIM fly the SIM
when u can hover perfect in the SIM then u can try the real heli .. hehehe

Actually is there any nice and stable rc heli model suitable for beginner?
Now my budget already allocated up to 2k compare the previous decision which i only allowed myself to buy walkera 4#3b tongue.gif
Because seeing people doing 3d flight is damn attracting so i wan to learn as well.
Maybe will change my mind to T-Rex 250 again as the walkera 4g3 is too expensive as i can see from a website, it is about RM1500 !!! I rather spend a few more hundreds to get a bigger size ... hehehhe

Hehehe, is that really so hard to learn and fly the rc heli properly? I can't imagine that and I can actually hover my 3ch coaxial nicely just that the heli itself is not stable.

hmmmm if second hand value is low, then RM500 for the package??? tongue.gif

no no .. u need to move the blades a little .. not fully straight all the time one like CP heli
try moving both blades backward a little .. u will find the vibs will decrease quite significantly
those 9* blades are already properly balanced ... the 6.5* i cannot remember laa .. hahahaha

the mod u made to the blade holders will make heli less pitchy during FF flights ..

The fp respond is kinda slow... not used to it...
So decided to changed the Belt CP flybar & paddle... yesterday did some spool up and less vibration but better respond...
Btw, i put the 3mm fiber board down under the blade holder... it do helps solving the blade tracking issue...

Anyway, have not maiden it... so still don't know the result...

Added on January 31, 2010, 11:20 amThe maiden report.....

After did some adjustment to the expo... -60% finally the heli become more controllable....

Thinking of relocating the gyro to a bigger area / add a steel shim at the current location... gyro seems not at solid location....

The FP is not suitable flying near my house... (wind kinda strong).. it hover like roller coaster...

FINALLY.... I need more blades, main shaft.....

Things that i mod:
Belt CP flybar + paddle
3mm Fiber Lower blade reinforcement
Vertical and horizontal tail fin + tail boom support
9g Corano servo for Rudder
Shorten Belt CP tail boom

the flybar and paddles are similar to 450 size helis so u can be flexible
9g servos are slower for tail response .. of coz more torque which is not required .. ultimately it will slow down rudder response
gyro are current location is good enuff but of coz can always do better la .. hehehe

FPs are floaty little creatures .. but minimum to no damage for crashes
and it does not like STRONG winds

blades and main shaft u can get from masterfx ... main gear as well since the main gear there is not so nice anymore

Added on January 31, 2010, 1:41 pmforgot to add .. the guruZ boom is the lightest one already
shortened 450 size heli boom will fit but will be much heavier towards the tail .. CG will be out and u will have to compensate

I keep the gyro at the same location, which i added a larger base plate to it to minimize vibration.... will post some pic on this tomorrow..

The FP do have minimum damage... rclxms.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

I notice that the BCP tail is thicker at about 1mm and the guruz is at about 0.4mm.... i have to admit that the FP CG is going back even with lipo....
Will look into that matter....

So, QiW... any new project coming up?
