found the spare part on times square... the spoilted part is " Balancer " it cost my friend rm15 for a little plastic..

hahaahaha ... it is true that upgrades costs more than the heli most of the time
i am personally experiencing this already altho i am still a beginner

tried hovering the 4G3 with new brushless + ESC setup
this combo is not very good ... it sucks up lipo like nobody's bizness laa ... hover for about 1 min or so then power start dropping liau
power was very good in the beginning though ... and the sound really very GANAS ... hehehehe

might opt for another brushless setup (non walkera) now pending feedback ....

i wan to diy it bcz the " tail " part easily get broken.. the "L" shape there..

just receive today..from usa
the heli called typhoon rc helicopter..
but i dont know how to flight it..
this heli queit complicated..its not the simple heli that our local distributor always sell..
i post the controller pic with this post..it have lcd at the controller

had another hover with the 4g3 .. altho cannot last long (1-2mins) coz esc sucking power and gyro gain way off but it was WAY FUN !!! hahaahahaa
will have to do with this until my new motor and ESC arrives

gonna make some tail boom supports for my 4g3 ..

wanter to build my 450 head during the weekend but discovered i dont have any grease to put in for the thrust bearings .. hahahhaa

tail oso can apply heat worr ... temp or perm ??

hmmm ... actually is there any advantage or difference of locktites ??
i didnt even know there is perm and temp ones ... isnt locktites just for screws not to jump out when too much vibration ??

means like CA liau la the perm locktite .. CA oso just needs heat to be applied to remove ... hehehe

the CA i am using will dry within 20 secs for super thin layer laa .. hehehe
i supposed i will just locktite using the normal locktite 1st laa

went to mega shop earlier .. bought grease (i think its silicone one)
the hot glue gun got ... but dont have the glue stick ... so no point .. hahahahaa

too many ppl doing that liau ... cannot cari makan ... hahahahahaaa

haiyaa ... the place where i buy is where everybody buy oso .. hahahahaaa

btw ... i just managed 2 packs @ 3mins each of hovering the 4G3 without crashing into anything !!!
and i did that under the aircond which was going full blast .. hahahahaaa

too bad i only got 2 charger ... if not will hover non stop .. hehehe
my 6 packs of lipo will be going major charging and usage these few days .. hahahaahahahaa

Added on June 16, 2009, 5:50 pmps ... i turned down the pitch curve which was too aggressive in the walkera tx so i am running higher HS with lesser pitch ... MUCH more CONTROL leh

tail wagging oso gone altho head is not holding as well as it should due to being a rate gyro ... i adjusted the gyro sensitivity and rate in tx oso

hey cliff ... i bet u didnt know this walkera tx that comes with the 4g3 is programmable one leh ... hehehehe

Added on June 16, 2009, 5:55 pmhmmm ... now thinking of making a nice blade balancer for the small blades of the 4G3 .. coz can feel they are out of balance
vibration is almost gone to not disturb the gyro ... thanks to the super duper acrylic double sided tape ... huahahahahahahaa

pps .. this acrylic double sided tape is very strong but must clean surfaces properly 1st laa .. and once set it is almost GEL like thus keeping alot of the vibrations away from the 4n1

get the align 750 gyro with digital tail servo 520 combo .. only rm100 more than the 401 alone
the 750 outperforms the 401 in all departments ... and the casing is much smaller and easier to hide from the blades/flybar
and the 520 servo is very quick and strong coz its meant for size 500 helis ... hehehe

my dx7 is set about the range for throttle ... but i have not done anything with the trex yet laa .. too engrossed in my 4g3 .. and too much fun .. hahahahahaaa

ps ... i assume u are using double sided tape to stick the gyro to the heli and velcro strapping of coz ... get the acrylic double sided one ... really a lifesaver for gyro vibrations and it sticks really really well (provided u clean the surfaces abit)

I'm using those silicon tape... what the different with acrylic tape?

Last night manage to fine tune my HBFP2 liao... but the tail still run abit sometimes... 
Manage to hover about 5min... but all over the place la... hahahaha

Hahaha.. but at least ur Trex 450 using belt driven...
Mine using Tail motor... u won't know when it will drift to sometimes... 
Or change direction whenever it likes... 

the align stocks are coming in mid-end of this month according to the boss
alot of the parts for the 450 pro gone off the shelf liau ... must be lots of ppl buying the 450 pro

the 450 pro is not in stock yet at the shop ...  align parts and heli all coming in same shipment mid-end of this month

for sure lorr ... its so small .. lots of wires running around
i think more electronics than your hbfp leh ... got 2 esc in there and 4n1 ... plus the main motor is just beside the 4n1 only ... all cramped up for space

actually i like my 4g3 so much i am now hanging in the middle whether to buy uniqueXme 2nd hand 4g3 or go for the 4#3 full BL .... still got time to think think .. per-orders to uniqueXme closes end of this month maa ... hahahahaa

hahahahaa ... the feeling of flying outside totally different from flying inside the house
why do u think i like my 4g3 so much and the 450 pro still in the box ??
the other obvious reason is "if i can fly the 4g3 i can fly anything" case laa .. so once i can confidently fly the 4g3 around in and out the house = chances of crashing the 450 will be so much lower liau ... hehehehe

Yup can upgrade to belt driven...
I have oredi upgraded to Guru Z fiber frame...
So now only left the belt conversion kit only...
But wait till my tail motor die 1st lar...

I believe the only reason like the 4#3 is because it can fly any where...
U can fly it indoor thn raining season... Can fly outdoor if wind is calm...
Repair cost much more cheaper compare to 4G3...
Lest setting compare to CP heli...

99% will get the 4#3 full BL laaa
the balance 1% is whether or not i should forsake the 4#3 and go for another 4g3 ... hehehehehe

yesterday hovering the 4g3 around with the BL oso damm syok .. i lowered the pitch setting and maintained the throttle settings ... so higher throttle with lesser pitch ... even hovering with aircond blwing into it oso got that wrrr wrrr blade/wind sound just like those bigger helis ... damm kow high laa ... hahahahahaa

today if got time will go to jalan pasar and source the wire i need for rewinding my BL tail ...
