hi guys.. couldn't find any loan rates being mentioned here? has the new baserate taking effect yet? what's the rate you guys are getting? maybe can put the loan rates on the first page for our reference also.. pls TS.. biggrin.gif
*
There are some interest rate mentioned in the previous thread, but there is a dedicated thread for people to share what interest rate that they got for their hire purchase. You can refer further there. Don't think there should be a dedicated post about it since it's a duplication. But others are free to post here what they got smile.gif mine was 2.63% 7 years with Affin Bank https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2225845/+1520

The remote start will attempt to bring down the temperature of the cabin to 22C.

QUOTE(capriodimitri @ Jul 20 2016, 12:28 AM)
Greetings all, I just got my civic today, 1.5TC-P (white). I noted that there are couple of people that may want to ask about the car. Feel free to post and I try my best to answer once I familiarise with the car.

I am also looking for same gang to share some info such as body kit, radio RDS feature, hdmi always on and etc. Its a great car so far.

Btw, I also have air con issue auto off. Anyone able show radio name in FM? I notive the rds is missing.
*
Congrats! I'll add you to the owners list later. The RDS is unavailable in the new Civic unfortunately. Something Honda Malaysia left out... We have a Whatsapp group that frequently talks about where to find bodykits, HDMI bypass etc. PM me if you wanna join and I'll PM you the Whatsapp group admin's number. So far there are 65 of us there now.

What do you mean about the aircond auto off? Can you explain further what you are facing? Is it similar to the known issue list we have on the first page?

New civic car owners who are not in the list, do PM me with your car variant (1.8, TC or TC-P) and your car colour.

Hi bro, I wanted to add your excel file in the front page. I find it useful (I have my own excel file for my own use too). The one thing you should edit is the interest rate. the lowest interest rate that you put in was 2.95% - no one in their right mind would accept an interest rate that high. Typically the range for a Honda is 2.5% - 2.9% depending on loan amount, loaner record, loan duration & bank. I'm recommending that the field should be editable to whatever value. But it's the same as any Hire Purchase calculator available in the web.

However, if you could add in NCB insurance calculation & accessories calculation in the mix, it would be even better. My own excel file has this, but I didn't make it universal. It's specific to my needs smile.gif

I agree with cybermaster98. Immediately driving off after starting is the best way to warm up the car - you don't waste fuel this way. In any case, don't drive hard while the engine is still warming up. Keep it below 2K rpm if possible for the first 2-3KM.

Bro, so far you are the only one affected. I'll add your case in the first page. Is your problem already resolved by the SA? The aircond tube came loose? Or was it missing from the factory? Mind sharing with us what they did to resolve it? Thanks!

Hope they fix it back to normal bro. And hope Honda Malaysia compensates you for the inconvenience!

As i mentioned in V1 thread, this function is not going to work. When u try to install APK, the install button appears to be grey-out. I'm following xda developer, so no solution yet up to date. (If there is any development progress i will let everyone know)
Only HRV and CRV can able to by pass, only they can have their HU to force install waze or google map inside.
*
Thanks for the info bro. I'll put it in the FAQ with a link to this.

Ya..
Me curious to know too..
I guess all 'de investigation' is 'wayang' only as it was a simple plug de drain hose back to its supposed hole/receptacle .. they should apologize profusely n give sum compensation instead of all de wayang - l guess 'Big Boss' must show tat he has done someting substantial..

Sorry if tis is insensitive to de affected cars owner.. dry.gif
D
*
I'm sure it's not all wayang, but since the car was flooded with AC water, the carpeting, sound proofing, body might have been affected (smell, rust etc). Also, since there are quite a few electrical wiring, that might have been affected as well - that is why they opened up the floor of his car. He might not have any problems now, but it might sometime down the line.

However, it's still bad QC when a brand new car is subjected to these kind of work... Hope everything is well for cricketboy. Some compensation is expected at the very least - 5 years free service? biggrin.gif
