fixed by replacing whole Carpet Assy. Floor, insulator (PET Cotton) but scratched some interior surface, i still find it hard for me to accept this mistake.
HM higher management will discuss on my case tomorrow, not sure whether they will compensate me or replace the car.

Glad to know that bro. I'll update the front page accordingly. Hope you get some compensation at the very least, if not a brand new car.

Safest would probably be RaceChip since its plug&play. What is important is a reputable tuner that knows how to disable the car before installation that is because there is a "black box" in the civicX that records its "data activity - error codes" and it is accessible by Honda mechs. This usually happens when you dyno the car and the engine check light comes on, that will be recorded.

I know of at least 1 guy whom has used the RaceChip and removed it during the first 1k service. No problem at all, the honda mechs didn't suspect anything  icon_idea.gif

They will only check if you complaint / have problems with the engine. Then kantoi & goodbye warranty.

QUOTE(dirtrun @ Jul 21 2016, 04:08 PM)
Cool,

Correct me if l am wrong but why would de 1k service include strapping de diagnostics check tingy - unless u got sumting to complain abt de engine???

You're right bro!

in any case, a member from the whatsapp group has a paint chip on this door - 3 of his doors in fact - and he claims that there are a lot of others having this problem. can you guys check if you have the same issue? My car thankfully has no such problem. It is located at the joint section of the door. Those who have not received the car yet, do properly scrutinize this section out - just in case.

I went to Kah Motor showroom near by Warta Lama on Tuesday, and they got one lunar silver unit (which the buyer loan not approved), and the SA reserved for me. And today he call me they have few TCP unit there including white, black and M.Steel. So i choose black! Loan submitted and waiting for the approval. Once loan approve i can collect my baby girl latest monday. biggrin.gif

I heard quite a lot of similar story. Lots of unapproved loan... Bank tightened guidelines? Or just a lot of people that can't afford, but want the car? Hmm...

Hi Guys, anyone else's experiencing the said air-cond issues, & is it resolved by HM?

I am facing similar issue as well; the aircond will turn off by itself from time to time, blowing only warm air
*
So far, you're the 5th person in this forum that has the problem. According to fawkes, Honda Malaysia has acknowledge 11 people across Malaysia has faced this problem. It's not widespread, but unfortunately they're unsure on how to fix it yet - see the first post. I'll add you into the owners facing this.

QUOTE(sean2823 @ Jul 24 2016, 01:55 PM)
Sound like TCP got an Aircond bug witch has no solution yet. 1.8 and TC so far ok, right?
*
QUOTE(Josh_M @ Jul 24 2016, 02:41 PM)
1.8 till now no issues with aircon.
*
1.8 & TC models do not face this issue (as far as we know). Suspect is a bug with the Climate Control software.

The car is higher than my previous FD2 Concept M - preinstalled with Mugen Bodykit. The car is lower in height, but the underbody is the same / higher than FD2

just realised that the remote start unable to start the car engine, only allowed the aircon compressor running only.

for long term , i think affect to the car battery.

TC or TC-P?

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jul 20 2016, 11:31 AM)
Nope. No problems so far except for that beeping sound from the HU unit. No rattles, squeaks or AC issues.
*
It seems that I am also experiencing this - seatbelt warning chime, weird beeps etc, when driving. I don't notice these sounds during short commutes. Only realised I'm hearing these sounds during long drives (JB-Melaka, JB-KL etc). What about you? I'm guessing this is also a software/firmware issue with the Head Unit.

Where u guys put tissue box and umbrella in car?
*
Umbrella I just put it between the front seat & door. I can put 2 umbrellas this way (driver & passenger side).

Tissue box, I just put it on the rear seats. I rarely bring 3 people at the back, so the tissue box would usually be at the rear middle seat. When I bring a full complement of 5 people, the tissue box gets thrown to the back window tongue.gif

I just noticed something when I brought my coat and put it at the rear. The hanger is placed way to the back, so it does not obstruct my view of the rear window. Good design Honda!

Quick question for those with problem with their AC, do you have the problems on manual mode only? Or it is the same on Auto mode? I usually use auto mode with temperature set at 22C in the morning. I don't control the fan speed at all, just the temperature.

I don't think our cars come with heater, only AC. International models do come with heaters - coz winter, duh.

QUOTE(alpha red @ Jul 26 2016, 10:46 PM)
Hi guys, need some advice on NCD transfer. I will trade in my 6 yrs old myvi. SA gave 3 options
1) top up insurance of myvi to transfer NCD to civic.
2) cancel myvi insurance and transfer ncd to civic. NO Insurance on myvi for few days. Very risky as I still hv to use the car.
3) Pay full civic insurance - NCD later when hand over car. Insurance co will refund ncd in abt 1 month. But not sure if the full 55% will be refunded.

I m thinking of option 1 since top up amt is very much less compared to ncd for civic. But do I get back the remaining premium pro rated later since myvi insurance still hv 5 months validity?
Is there any other option??
Thx!
*
Option 1. You'll get back some of your premium later when you cancel the insurance. May not get 100% of it though.
